Dana was awesome to work with and communicate with! Any question we had about the property, weather before getting there, were answered immediately!! House was in a great place. We had fishing every night, kayaks to use and a nice big table to eat and play cards!

House was just what we needed. Perfect place for paddle boarding and swimming. Host was very personable and responsive to any concerns or questions we had. Home is pretty roomy and has lovely views of water on the sound! House was perfect size for our family of 3! House had pretty much all the amenities we needed for out stay! Quiet little neighborhood as well!

Our stay was wonderful! Very quiet spot on the water. Very serene! The home was lovely and had all the little touches! We didn’t get the kayaks on the water, but it was nice knowing they were made available to the guests. Dana provided for our needs and then some! It was nice having a Food Lion close by. We drove the distance to Duck and to Wanchese every day for fishing and restaurants. Did some cooking at the home too with the equipment provided at the property for seafood. Highly recommend.

Such a cute little place. Decor and touches within the home show the owners passion to make guests feel special. Not as secluded as I envisioned but was a quiet stay which we appreciated. The owners providing paddle boards and kayaks is such a bonus! It was my favorite part!

Why they chose this property

This property is located directly on the Currituck Sound overlooking various Outer Banks (OBX) towns. It is the perfect mix of beach and watertown. You can be to the beach in 15-20 minutes, golf in 5 minutes, winery in 5 minutes, and the water park in 10-15 minutes. It is the best of all worlds without being in the thick of the tourists in the OBX. Grandy is truly the most quaint place that I have frequented.
