A 480 square foot post and beam cabin built from the heart of the Maine woods. Exposed beams and wood throughout this cozy space. A loft bedroom with King bed is the prized sleeping spot. A futon to sleep 2 guest is located on the first floor.

Magical Cabin

My dad and I deliberated for several weeks about which cabin to stay in in the general Acadia/Bar Harbor region. Fortunately, we made the right choice. This cabin was so incredibly cozy, well-built, and plenty close to Acadia national park (about 25 mins). Everything that my dad and I wondered if the cabin would have was there -- coffee, towels, heat/AC, particular utensils, cutting boards -- the list goes on. We would absolutely stay there again. The host was responsive and gave us wonderful reccomendations for food, hiking, and late night drinks. Thanks so much, Kevin, for building this beautiful Maine retreat!

What makes this property unique

Alvah's Park Ranger Cabin was built by myself with a few days of assistance from friends. The goal was to provide a cabin experience close to Acadia National Park and Mount Desert Island. The scent of wood, cozy feel and comfort level are all part of the experience.
