I have a new “happy place”. This beautiful spot is quiet, private, and truly feels like an escape from all else. There is no through traffic, so our only companions were the deer, bunnies, birds, a groundhog and a bald eagle. We spent so much time on the front porch just being present. The expansive outdoor surround was a perfect mix of well maintained lawn areas and natural, wild haven areas. The home is ideal for a couple or small family. We will definitely be back!
Property was clean , quiet and secluded. Nice views from the hilltop. Easy access and well marked. Roomy interior and up to date furnishings. Will definitely return.
I and my wife enjoyed this secluded and scenic cabin. Good location ( close to Ashville and Biltmore), modern design, quiet and secluded. I would recommend it to friends
This weekend was perfect. The place was very clean, and it had everything we needed. Never saw anyone else while at the property. I saw an adorable little bunny both the night we arrived and the next morning. Beautiful views. Would recommend!
We loved this pet friendly, cozy rental! The house was beautifully decorated and well equipped. It was an easy drive to destinations both in Asheville and off to the mountains. After a day trip to the city, it was lovely to return to the quiet, privacy of the mountains. Loved it!
Scenery of this property is breathtaking. Beautiful hills and trees throughout. Very cozy home. Property manager is awesome as we had a dead car battery that delayed our checkout past 11 AM and they worked with us without charging us for late checkout !! This rarely happens. I was fully expecting and offered to pay more due to late checkout and was told not to worry about it. We encourage people renting this cottage to have the same exceptional experience I did. Thanks to our hosts. Tauhric & Laura Brown

FURNITURE INFESTED WITH TICKS — BEWARE! We traveled to the area for a wedding and rented due to not wanting to leave our senior dog alone in a hotel. Sadly, just after bringing our belongings inside, we sat down to find a tick crawling on us. We panicked and put the tick in a cup of soapy water. Hoping it was a one off, we sat back down. Within minutes, we felt something else and jumped up off of the couch just to find another tick walking across the couch. We placed that tick in the cup and searched the couch but didn’t see any others. After sitting down for a third time, we found a third tick crawling on us. At that point, we could not stay and put ourselves/ our dog at risk. We were forced to find other accommodations and due to cost had to cut our trip short. When we went to leave I put the cup holding the THREE ticks in the dishwasher to find someone’s dirty dishes! There were also hairs on the towels in the bathroom. I messaged the host that night and was ignored until I received an automated goodbye message on our check-out date. They refused to provide even a partial refund and said that finding multiple ticks is normal there. This experience has been nothing short of a nightmare. Please also note that it isn’t until you’ve arrived that you’ll learn “pet friendly” means your dog cannot access furniture and needs to be crated if no one is home. I would not recommend this rental.
