Hosted by HelmsBnB and formerly a traditional Vermont Carriage House, our home has a unique layout with high ceilings, exposed beams and expansive windows overlooking the river and mountains.

Staying in Bridgewater is the best of both worlds - you`re only 10 minutes from the heart of charming Woodstock and 15 minutes from the slopes at Killington. The best of Vermont is right outside your door!

With 2 bedrooms and 2 baths, along with laundry and a dedicated work space, on the main and upper floors and living, dining and kitchen areas, as well as access to the balcony over the river, on the lower floor, your whole group can spread out and enjoy the spaces.

Lower level:
-Fully stocked kitchen -- oven, stove, dishwasher, blender, fridge, toaster, regular drip coffee pot (with complimentary start up coffee & filters), tea kettle, cookware, serve ware and dinnerware etc.
-Living room – 50 inch TV, comfy couch and seating area with two chairs overlooking the river
-Dining area – dining table with seating for 6 and kitchen island with 4 bar stools
-Patio with outdoor seating area, gas fire pit, gas grill and cafe lights - amazing river views!

Main level (level you enter into):
-Dedicated work area – desk, chair and high speed wifi
-Queen bedroom
-Full Bathroom with stand up shower
-Laundry closet – washer, dryer & complimentary laundry supplies

Upstairs:
-King bedroom and queen sleeper sofa with cathedral ceilings
-Ensuite full bathroom with shower, tub and toilet closet

Guests have access to the entire space with the exception of two small owner`s storage closets.

While we strive to minimize guest disturbances, we regularly maintain our home and may conduct lawn care during reservations, particularly on weekdays or during longer stays.

We`re happy to help with suggestions, but will never be overbearing.

We are a 10 minute drive to downtown Woodstock, 15 minute drive to Killington (even closer to the skyship gondola), and one mile from Long Trail Brewery. The perfect location for skiers, leaf peepers, snowmobilers, hikers, and everyone in between!

The VAST trail for snowmobiling is located just across the river from our house. The community center/fire station is about 1 minute from the house and would be the best place to unload snow mobiles to catch the trail.

There is virtually no public transit in Woodstock/Killington, so having a personal vehicle is recommended if you wish to see all the scenery and attractions that the area has to offer!

-Pack and play available for your tiniest traveler!

-The one built in AC unit that does a wonderful job cooling the entire house. We also have stand up fans and some ceiling fans.

-Please note that our home is 3 stories. There is one bedroom on the main floor, one bedroom on upstairs floor and the living/kitchen/dining/patio are on the lower floor.

-Private driveway that can accommodate 3 vehicles

-We are dog friendly and require a non-refundable $125 dog fee, per dog (2 dogs, max). This does not cover any damage and all dogs must be house trained. If you are bringing your pup along, we must know at the time of booking and prior to your arrival. We are located on the main road in Bridgewater, without a yard, so please take this into consideration when deciding to bring your pup (we are driving distance to walking trails and parks). Please note that we do not allow cats due to guest allergies.

-As we are located on the main road in Bridgewater, there is potential for road noise. There are brand new noise reducing windows which work wonders and we provide sound machines, as well.

We have installed exterior only security cameras for the safety of both guest and property. These cameras are actively recording both audio and video on all exterior entrances and side doors. Any tampering with cameras, including, but not limited to covering and otherwise disabling of these cameras are grounds for early termination of reservation with no refunds whatsoever.

Please note that any refunds made in accordance with our cancellation policy will be less any credit card fees.

Absolutely no smoking inside or near open exterior doors - there is a $250 fee if this is violated.
