Very friendly condo complex. Pool area was wonderful. Parking was easy. A very short walk to the beach (1 short block). Perfect weather. Host was easy to communicate with.

Danielle was a great host who responded to our concerns promptly, professionally, and as effectively as possible. Unfortunately, once again, I had trouble finding the access code amid the myriad of information VRBO sent me before the trip - most of it entirely unnecessary. I wish something could be done about that.

A very nice place to stay. The kitchen was fully equipped. The living area was very spacious. We felt very comfortable.Only in the upstairs apartment could you hear every step...even at night.

When they say steps away from the beach, they mean it. It was very convenient and just our pace. I was disappointed to see off shore oil rigs in the distance. Watch out for beach tar. Carp is a great little town with good restaurants and ten minutes from Santa Barbara. Santa Barbara airport is so easy to get in and out of. If you want a quiet slow pace beach stay, this is a great option.

Wonderful beach getaway

We loved our time at the Cottage By The Sea! One block from the beach and easy walking to town center. Very clean, updated, and spacious. We loved it for our family of four. The owners communicated well too. We would definitely stay there again.

The property was beautiful and the apartment had everything we needed but the best thing was the bed. Both my husband and myself slept better than we had in a long time. We would love to find out what kind of mattress or topper is used.Thank you for a great stay and great sleep!!I also loved the proximity to the beach

Comfortable place very close to the beach

Our stay started off with the owner allowing us to check in a bit early which was awesome! Communication was great and every detail was covered. We had a great weekend enjoying the beach just a half block away and walking to restaurants and shops that were all very close by. We even spent a little time relaxing at the pool. The place was very clean and comfortable with everything we needed. Definitely recommend this spot!! Thank you to the owner for making this a terrific birthday weekend getaway!

Cute Carpinteria getaway

The Cute little Cottage by the Sea was amazing! A short walk to shops and restaurants and an even shorter walk to the beach. A very laid-back town and a beautiful beach. The Cottage itself was very clean and everything looked new! It had a very relaxing and beachy feel. The complex is very quiet has a nice pool. We hope to visit again!

This home was in the middle of one of the cutest beach town spots that I've been to in the US! There is so much in walking distance we wish we would've been able to stay even longer. It's so close to the beach, the seal sanctuary, restaurants, the brewery, shops, even a grocery store. The bed was super comfortable; and the living room furniture so we could crash after our long day and just chit chat. The check-in & out process was so smooth and easy. Easy parking; great recommendations to all the area "things to do" and how long they take to get there by the host. Host was super responsive to any and every question I had before and during my stay. Would 100% stay here again!

The location is fabulous. It is a very nice condo but doesn’t have any heat. Owner brought over a space heater promptly however. The mold around the tub edge needs addressing! We had a nice stay.

We were very comfortable in Danielle's place. We loved how close it was to downtown restaurants and how it was such a quick walk to the beach. We would definitely book again. Also loved having access to the pool!

I'm so glad we had a chance to rent this lovely unit for our family of 4 for a week in June. The complex is very quiet, and located just across the street from the beautiful Carpinteria beach, and an easy walk to small town shops, parks and restaurants. There's gated parking, very important in Carpinteria during the summer, and a shared pool, bbq's, picnic tables and pay laundry. The condo itself is very clean, well stocked, comfortable and nicely decorated, with surprisingly large rooms. We hope to return!
