Just a 1-minute walk to Capitola Beach, coffee shops, restaurants, and local boutiques, the location truly can’t be beat. Enjoy included parking and the ease of exploring the village on foot, then return to a cozy, welcoming space—perfect for relaxing after a day at the beach or enjoying everything Capitola has to offer.

- 1 reserved parking space in the carport at the house. There is paid street parking available in Capitola Village, however please note a spot can be hard to come by, especially during the busy months.

With a relaxed atmosphere, Capitola is a paradise for beach lovers and water sports enthusiasts. Stroll along the picturesque Capitola Beach and explore the unique shops and eateries. The city's scenic beauty, combined with a vibrant community, creates a perfect beachfront destination. Plus, its proximity to Santa Cruz offers easy access to the Boardwalk and additional attractions, making Capitola a delightful coastal retreat.
This is not a good place for gatherings or parties so please keep that in mind when booking this home. We are very respectful of our neighbors and will not tolerate loud noise past curfew and additional guests at the property.
Getting Around:
- Whole Foods, New Leaf, and Safeway (3-6 minute drive)
- Downtown Santa Cruz and the famous Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk (15-20 minute drive North)
- The Monterey Bay Aquarium (50 minute drive South)
Other Things to Note:
- The upstairs bedroom is a cozy loft with a charming open design, offering a lovely view of the living room and kitchen below. Please note that access to the loft and the rest of the house does require stair mobility.
- The home does not have air conditioning. Like many coastal homes in Capitola, it relies on ocean breezes and natural ventilation.
- The area has a vibrant, lively atmosphere during the day and into the evening, with travelers and local activity until around 11 p.m. Traffic flow can be moderate, though the street the house is on is relatively quiet compared to other main roads.
- We have landscapers, pest service, and other property maintenance done on a weekly basis. You may see or hear these service professionals during your stay as they let themselves into the backyard to service as needed. Please be sure to ask about this before booking if you think it might be an issue for you.
- TV is a smart tv with streaming capabilities. There are no cable or local channels.
- The exterior of this home is monitored by 24/7 surveillance recording devices for safety.

Fabulous location, host was very easy to deal with, the layout of the property was great, amenities were top notch. Already planning a return trip later in the year!
Location, location, location!!! Great place just steps away from the beach. Will definitely rent this unit again. And having a designated parking spot is golden to have in The Village.
Excellent location , clean , well equipped kitchen and we love having our own parking spot ! Close to everything and we never had to move our car. We can’t wait to come back , wonderful host , great communication and checked in on us :) My family and I had a very nice vacation and loved our cozy vacation rental :)
The property has a great location, was clean, has a great layout, and was perfect for our stay. Communication with the host was reliable, prompt, and very courteous. The instructions and information needed for the property was easily accessible and very organized. We were very pleased with everything.
Great location, quiet neighborhood with easy access to everything we needed. Super helpful the house had beach towels we could use. Could be a bit cleaner (i am VERY particular) and i would highly recommend the carpet be replaced with wood flooring.
Communication was excellent home was very clean and neat location was amazing fit for all ages.
