A beautiful home newly renovated with a farmhouse sink, stainless appliances, hardwood flooring and a great location just minutes from first beach and 3 miles to the heart of Newport. We have plenty of off-street parking (up to 4 spots).
There are 3 bedrooms, including a master en suite with a private sliding glass door to a huge backyard. Enjoy a fully stocked kitchen, all non toxic ceramic cookware and everything else you need to prepare a meal in the comforts of your own home!

We are located in a family friendly neighborhood that is ideal for small families or working professionals.

Absolutely no pets due to severe allergies of family members who use the rental property part of the year or party animals allowed:)

We had the absolute best time staying in the adorable first floor rental! It had everything we needed, was super clean, the host was extremely responsive, and it was within walking distance to the gorgeous beach! Awesome stay!

This location is ideal for a great week down in the Middletown/Newport area. You are walking distance to first beach in Newport and a very short ride to Second Beach. Easily walkable if you don’t have young kids. The host family was amazing and I will hopefully be staying here again next year.

Great Vacation!

Great place in a great location!! Our host, Shannon was very accommodating, answered all our questions and gave great recommendations for restaurants. We really liked the neighborhood setting and could walk to just about anywhere.

This was our 1st trip back to RI in about a decade to see family and visit the beaches. This property was absolutely beautiful and perfect for our family. The yard is perfect for both kids and adults and Easton’s beach and several shops and dining are all within walking distance. Plus Newport is just a short drive. Our host Shannon and her family are absolutely the best and we look forward to our next stay.

Comfortable clean and convenient

Our family includes an adult child with special needs and this rental was perfect. All one floor, easy access to everything, super clean and comfortable. Hosts were wonderful to communicate with and went out of their way to ensure our stay was perfect. Highly recommend!

Great location, great hosts

House is adorb, plenty of parking amazing location (we are massive beach people), but close to downtown as well. Clean, had everything we needed and effortless check-in. Shannon and her family were amazing, they made it feel like we were staying at a friends house, not a rental. The neighbors were super friendly as well. Def recommend, we’ll be back.

The yard is for everyone to enjoy and the 6 chairs and large table stacked by the grill are for guests to use where ever they wish. The chairs are put back for the man cutting the grass, but I will make that clearer in the future!

Awesome!

Perfect space for our party of 5. Host was easy to communicate with. Our host went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. Will definitely stay here again if we are back in the area. Short walk to the beach and absolutely loved having coffee in the morning on the bench swing.

Close to the beach, great house for kids.

The house was very clean and comfortable. The hosts were so kind, welcoming and helpful. Plenty of beds, towels, fully equipped kitchen, great relaxing backyard with swings, grill, and a fire pit. The house is a few minutes from a great beach called Second beach which was great to spend a day there as well as pass by in the evenings for a sunset walk on the shore. There’s a lot to do in the area, Newport cliff walk, car museums, and great restaurants.

Amazing experience

First time staying here ! Extremely satisfied with the location, cleanliness, everything available in the house and amazing host Shanon + great pricing. This is by far my best experience in new port and would highly recommend ! The place felt Like home from day 1 and it’s super Cozy. The pictures don’t do it justice !

Best place in Newport

This place was absolutly amazing. Perfect for the not-as-mobile in-laws and our kids (4 and 7). There was an awesome yard for kids to play in and its in a really good neighborhood. The hosts were awesome, and extremely family. The house had everything you could need. It was very quiet and everyone had enough space and privacy. Internet was great for work. We will stay here again on our next trip to Newport.

Great hospitality and comfortable place

My husband and I were in town for a wedding, and we brought my 1-year-old and mom. It was such a comfortable and fun place for all of us. Shannon was such a responsive and thoughtful host—when we had logistics questions (not even about the unit!) she went above and beyond to help us get information. it was a great place for our kid to explore in the yard. The unit was very clean, and it was a convenient distance to get into Newport for wedding events. Overall, a wonderful stay!

Enjoyable stay in Middletown

Our stay at Shannon's property was very enjoyable. The set up was perfect for our group of six. Shannon even reached out ahead of time to ask how to configure the beds to best match the needs of our group. The property was clean and well decorated. The listing indicates that there is no air conditioning at the property. While there were several fans throughout, we must have been in town during one of the hottest weekends in July because even with the windows open it did get very hot at night. Lastly, a couple of the windows were missing shades, but Shannon allowed us to hang some bed sheets to provide privacy. Overall, I would recommend this property!

We actually have a custom blind on order for the small bathroom window and also updated the sliding glass doors with new and improved panel blinds for added privacy! And even though it normally stays quite cool in the apartment, when it’s 90 degrees outside it is just too hot. I tried to get a portable air conditioner for your stay, but apparently I wasn't the only one thinking that, and I couldn’t get it there in time.. I apologize you guys had to endure that heat! In the future, if you’d like to come back and stay with us, we now have a portable AC unit to cool things off and we would be happy to give you a day free on your next reservation, should you decide to come back! Thanks again for staying with us and the awesome feedback! Shannon

Beautiful home/difficulty with deposit

The house is in perfect condition with plenty of room. There is, however, a tenant on the first floor which was never mentioned in the house description. This was a surprise to our group since we thought it was a single family home. The house has a great location and was exactly what we needed for a long weekend in beautiful Newport. I would have absolutely considered renting again in the future, however, there was a major delay on receiving my deposit back. There was a minor mishap with one of our group taking home the wrong towels, but they were returned. It took about 2 months to finally get my deposit back which became very frustrating.

It was not malicious and had anyone realized the box of beach towels being returned was lost in the mail we could have rectified the situation sooner. Admittedly, I was distracted with the birth of my first child, arriving a month early, and when the box didn't arrive, I simply assumed it was still in the mail and didn't give it much thought. I'm just glad it all worked out in the end.
