About the host
Hosted by Lloyd Monroe
Melanie and Lloyd Monroe are sixth-generation North Floridians. They are the parents and grandparents of three. They left the comfort of Tallahassee and Lloyd’s civil trial law practice to found a humanitarian relief non-profit in Guatemala’s Western Highlands in 2005. As retirement approached, they left Guatemala and purchased their Alligator Point beach house; there, many more family memories have been made.
Why they chose this property
The Sadie Shack is situated at the start of Alligator Point. There are no houses to the immediate left or right and it’s quiet and peaceful there.
What makes this property unique
An elevated deck, lower level screen room, lower level swing area, and three of the house’s rooms provide a nice view of the Gulf of Mexico. The shore is minutes away by foot.
