Family friendly. Location was amazing right on Bearskin Neck. Enjoyed many walks down the wharfs and had everything we needed in the rental. Parking was the only downside as there is none on site and can be challenging to find at times with mostly metered parking nearby. Not a huge issue since you can load and unload on site and a very walkable town. Would rent again.

Communication with Matt was easy and response was timely. So much history in this building and this town. Clean, quiet and easy walking to shops and excellent restaurants. Parking is strange but you'll figure it out.

We had an amazing stay! The location couldn't have been better. The Orca is absolutely gorgeous and within walking distance of so many charming downtown restaurants, shops, and local attractions. It was the perfect home base for exploring everything the area had to offer. The rental itself was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described.If you're looking for a beautiful place to stay that's right in the heart of a vibrant downtown, this is it. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

We thoroughly enjoyed staying at the Orca. It was clean and comfortable. Better yet, it is right in Bear Neck. The ambiance was wonderful mixing the old with the new.

Great walking and distance and close location to other towns (Salem, Boston, Glouster,etc) Fan favorite was Roy Moores..ate there almost everyday. Halibut Point State Park is right up the road and a beautiful hike

Property was great, location was lovely, the two minor issues we had were, that we had a little one who didn't get a door, (there is a curtain on the room with bunk beds) so we had no way for the adults to entertain ourselves after the little went to bed.The only other issue was parking, it added additional stress and made our commings and goings a bit more hectic without a dedicated parking spot. Matt did give us advice on where to look for Parking and it worked out ok. I'd recommend getting Rockport parking app asap so you can manage your parking without going back to the meters.Otherwise perfect and we all loved it.

Great family location

Our family had a great stay at the Orca! Wonderful location with walk ability around town and just a short drive to other excursions. The perfect set up for our family with 2 kids. Matt was prompt with responses and was able to help us with whatever was needed. If we visit Rockport again, we will be back to this spot!

Location, location, location!

This nautical inspired apartment had tons of character and couldn’t have had a better location. A coffee shop was just steps outside the front door along with all the charming shops and restaurants of Rockport’s Bearskin Neck. Would definitely stay here again.

Perfect for a weekend

Stayed with our two kids. Loved the quaint space, had everything we need for a short stay. The location can’t be beat, a quick walk to the ocean, lots of shops nearby. Only downside is parking is not directly near property, but we didn’t have issues finding parking nearby.

Favorite rental to date!

We LOVED our stay at the Orca and this property is our favorite to date! The Bearskin Neck area so neat. Theres so much to do, yet it’s quaint and peaceful. The Orca had everything we needed and communication with the property manager was amazing. We loved the decor and vibe and hope to stay there again soon!
