Loved our stay with beautiful views of the lake and access to the dock, paddle boards and kayaks. The lovely home is well-organized, clean and a great place for families to gather and have fun together. Our host was very thoughtful and responsive. We highly recommend Shady Shoals!

This property was everything you could ask for. Clean and set on a beautiful piece of property on the lake. TV in every room and the washer and dryer on second floor was very cool. Boat house is really big and easy access to the roof deck. Refrigerator and water at the bar at the pool house. Caught an 8 lb catfish using a bluegill I caught at the dock. Didn’t use the walkout basement, but if you wanted to have fun with friends, this is a man cave dream. My wife and son were the only 3 people there, so we didn’t use everything that we could at the property. The State Park was minutes away and we walked by the damn everyday. Lots of restaurants close by, so overall we could have not had a better experience at the property. Will come back again.

The location and home are absolutely beautiful. The house is so well stocked and we found everything we could have needed. Our young children loved the bunk beds and all of the hidden toys were such a wonderful added surprise.

Awesome stay!

Awesome place to stay! Stayed here with 4 families with children 9 months to 8 years. Dock is great for swimming and jet skiing. The water toys available were loved by all. The house is beautiful with everything you could need. Also very clean and comfortable! Would definitely stay here again.

Amazing stay

We, (2 adults, 4 kids age 11-16) had a great time at this lovely home. It is in an amazing location, the house was great and the kids didnt want to leave. We were able to hang out, swim, kayak, and fish in the protected cove. On the boat dock you can hear the frogs at night, and birds during the day. Highly recommend it!

Mothers Day 2025

Stayed here Mothers Day, and it was a nice place. Big home with lots of space and plenty of amenties. We made a fire in the chimena and made smores. It was a rainy day when we went so we didnt use the kayaks, but we fished from the covered dock.

Amazing!

House and property were beautiful and very well kept. Host was quick to reply with any questions that we had! The dock made for hours of entertainment for the entire family! We brought our boat and it was the perfect location for hoping on the lake! Hope to be back soon!
