Lovely family home yet I had my own defined space both inside and outside. Great central location. Restaurants, stores, and even a farmers market within walking distance.
Loved our stay here. Had everything we needed and good proximity to Seattle (when the traffic wasn't heavy). The backyard was a lovely bonus. More pictures would have been helpful. Didn't know the space was attached to the house, beds were in the entryroom which didn't have AC, or that the fridge wasn't full size. Owners were super friendly and easy to get a hold of with questions. Even offered some fresh plums from the tree in the back : ) Would stay again, especially for the price.

Liked: Location
The property was excellent. Very clean and inviting. Hearing the creek and the chickens was special.
Enjoyed being out of the hustle of downtown Seattle but close enough to enjoy it. Easy to find and not to far from the main highway. Bed was comfortable and nice place for what we needed for this trip. Coffee was a nice treat. Traffic was our biggest issue but that is expected with big cities. We did a lot of traveling to all the sights possible in and around Seattle. There is way too much to do in this area and see so we will be back and would use this same place if available.

Liked: Communication
The place was cozy and clean but not super nice; the price is right though.
We basically just needed a place to sleep and get ready for the day the next morning. Nice quiet location, clean, no frills with a comfortable bed. This place worked well for our needs. Thank you to our host who was very personable and helpful.
Such a charming place!!! It was so clean, and felt like a home away from home. We will definitely put it as a place to come back to, when we visit family in the area again.
There is cute restaurant a short walk away. Convenient location near Highway 5 which is the thorough fare for getting to and from many different neighborhoods in the Seattle area.
Great location and unit for solo and coupled travelers who don’t need all of the bells and whistles, but want a nice play to stay. The check in/out processes were easy. The communication between the host was excellent. If you plan on staying during the warmer months, request the portable AC unit ahead of time to stay cool. There are windows you can open that let in cool air, but only if it’s cool outside. We came during one of the hottest weeks in Seattle! There is an induction plate for cooking and small fridge to keep essentials. The kitchenette has a microwave, toaster oven (big one) and basket coffee maker with a five cup capacity. My only “complaint” is that the couch is not too comfortable if you want to sit for very long to watch movies, etc. it’s pretty, but not too comfortable. The pillows are filled with down, so if you have allergies, bring your own (put it in a vacuum bag to save space in your luggage).I’m so happy we chose this location and loved listening to the sounds of the birds, the chickens, and the little creek that runs through the property.Thank you, Andrew, for offering this space for travelers!
Space is very easy to get to with great parking. Clean and well equipped. The “babbling brook” sounds from the window in the living room were very pleasant. Great coffee! Would recommend for a couple or single person.

Thank you for your lovely comment. It would be a pleasure to welcome you again on your next visit.
In town for my niece's graduation. Just needed a place to sleep as we were spending most every waking moment with family. Conveniently located, easy check in and out process. Place was cute and comfy if we were to spend more time in it.
So crazy story. I came across this listing and realized it's my grandpa's old house. I practically grew up here and it was the last place I lived before moving to California with my now 15-year-old son. He and I lived in this exact mother-in-law apartment, after I sold my condo in MountLake Terrace and we were transitioning to move to Northern California. needless to say it was full of nostalgia. It was fun to see he still had some memories of it as well. The owners did a really cute job setting up the mother-in-law apartment as a VRBO. they were quick to respond to our messages, kind to talk to when we ran into them, the location was perfect for what we needed as well. The property is still to this day one of my favorites. With a creek going around 3/4 of the property. I personally know it takes a lot of work to maintain and I could see the new owners were doing their best to catch up on a lot of overgrowth. Hopefully we can come back one day and the little beach I want to grew up playing on will be accessible again. Oh, and one more strange fact, I didn't say anything to the owners, but the fabric art in the breezeway between the front door and sliding door came from my families cabin and before that, my Aunti's college apartment. I was going to say something to the owners about it and see if I could buy it off of them but traveling back to California, It didn't seem feasible.
