The property perfectly suited me in terms of cost and amenities. The only downside was no laundry facilities but Andrew made his own available to me which was very kind. The shower is walk-in and there were times when I would have preferred a tub to soak in after a long hike but such are the trade-offs.
The location is excellent. Right near the convergence point for I-405 north and I-5 north with easy access to all points north e.g. Mt. Vernon, Whidbey Island and Canada and all points south e.g. Seattle, Redmond, Olympia. The location is a nice walk from a really decent pizza and ale place called the Local104.
Additionally, if you like pleasant walks on autumn days next to a scenic lake, the famous Burke-Gilman hike and bike trail is just a walk away. An additional benefit is that route 104 (the main route next to the location) is a straight shot to Edmonds (a really fun little town with a great blues bar) and the ferry to the Olympic peninsula which contains the Olympic National Park. It has one of the only two temperate rain forests in the contiguous 48 states).
In short, if you want easy access to scenic highways, the Puget Sound, the mountains and a great nightlife, this place gave me that.
