If you aren't lucky at fishing, park your boat at our pier, grab a cold drink and fish off our new pier under the fishing lights. Or simply enjoy our balcony overlooking the river with your morning coffee, or reading with Fido at your side. You may catch a look at our wildlife across the water. Shopping for anything you forgot or just beach goin...2 miles south it's all available in our quiet town. So come on down.. Whether you're seeking adventure or simply looking to relax, this superb cabin is the ideal choice for your stay in Matagorda. Enjoy your time in Matagorda at our cabin.

Gregory's Waterfront cabin sits on the Colorado River and has a lighted fishing pier with cleaning station. The area under the cabin has a picnic table area for enjoying time together or watching your party catching fish. It is pet friendly. You will see the most amazing sunsets on the river. You can also put your boat in the water and tie it off to the dock throughout your stay. Beautiful sunsets on the river is a plus and treat for your stay.

Host was very polite and responsive, house was clean and had everything we needed to have a smooth weekend. The only thing that caught us off guard was the photos made the house look bigger than it is. We had a great time and would go back!

Great place

Great place right on the river. Throw your pole in right behind the house. Has everything you need and a comfortable, relaxed, feels like home feeling - “Just leave it like you find it!”. Would definitely stay again!!

Change in Venue

Just prior to our rental our agent said there was a problem with the house pictured here and she had another comparable house she is offering us to for our stay. The new house was just a few houses down fromthe selection and the house was probably nicer than the one we originally chose. The only difference was the doc didn’t appear as nice. It all worked out. The only issue we had was the yard was 12” talk when we checked in a d we had to call to get it mowed which they took care of within a couple of hours. We will rent this house again.
