This property should have a walking score of 100. My wife and I are not what I would call "active" people. So, I was not sure how we would handle 4 days of it. It was a breeze. Close to dozens of restaurants, shops and historical sites. We are local, so we had been to old town often. Being able to stay in the middle of it and walk everywhere was a joy. You can walk a few bocks get on the water taxi and be at the Wharf, National Harbor or Georgetown in 20-30 minutes. You can also do what we do, just ride around on it all day. There is something so relaxing about a ride on a boat. The house itself was immaculate, and quiet. A perfect place to experiance a little history in the comfort of a modern home. Our host communicated exactly what was needed and all the information was timely and accurate. Really one of the best VRBO stays we have ever had.

Wonderful property, the location could not be better for exploring Old Town. Close to DC attractions as well. Would highly recommend and would stay here again!
We love this quaint space in Old Towne. It was very convenient to shops, cafes, restaurants and local attractions. The home was wonderfully decorated and equipped with what we needed for our holiday stay. No issues with street parking and we loved walking the amazing streets surrounding the home. Plenty of room for the 3 of us and things were very comfortable. We would definitely stay again!
Everything about our stay was amazing. Property is within walking distance to everything in Alexandria. Host was awesome to work with and responded promptly to all our questions. We will be staying here again for sure!

We (two couples in our late 60's) enjoyed our two night stay in this historic home. The host (Genevieve) was easy to communicate with. It is very well located and within walking distance to everything in historic Old Town Alexandria.
Very nice historic townhouse. We spent a bunch of time sitting in the back garden. Excellent location very close to King St. and all the restaurants/shops there. We were worried that we would have problems parking but always found a spot within a half block of the house.
