This property was amazing, stylistically elevated, and had beautiful lighting! I loved the pool and the outdoors area and never wanted to leave! The property owner allowed me to bring my 2 well behaved cats and they loved the place too! My husband and I, and our cats would just sit there admiring the beautiful desert views. This place feels remote and tranquil, and the host is very communicative and easy to reach. Thank you so much for making my 40th birthday an incredible one!!

While this place looks fantastic in the listing photos, the actual experience was incredibly disappointing. The biggest issue is the kitchen layout, which is completely impractical and uncomfortable to use. Essential items and prep spaces are located entirely too far away from the stove, making basic meal prep a frustrating chore. It’s a space designed for pictures rather than people, prioritizing aesthetics over basic functionality. Ultimately, between the awkward flow and lack of everyday comfort, it just isn't a functional space for a family. My wife, our daughter, and I found it much harder to navigate than it should have been. I would not recommend it if you actually plan on cooking or relaxing.

This sweet, modern bungalow was exactly what I was hoping for. Quiet area, gorgeous space and so easy to just BE. The Smeg appliances were a nice touch. Highly reccomend!

Desert view modern!

We loved our stay at The Sowe, it was perfect for star gazing and relaxing in the desert neighborhood. Yucca Valley is a diamond in the rough, so many great adventures and so close to Joshua Tree National Park.If you love quiet and also love proximity to "civilization", The Sowe is a wonderful option.
