We enjoyed a lovely quiet stay at Vancie's cottage. This is a summer camp, which is exactly what we expected and were very pleased with the experience. We arrived to a clean camp with lots of extras left behind by others, oil, zip locks that sort of thing. We cooked most meals there on the very clean and working gas grill, the kitchen had plenty of dishes for all of our needs, although we used paper when possible since there is no dishwasher (we knew this). The kitchen was clean, but it is a camp kitchen and quite small, it does have all you need, but not a lot of counter space. It still worked out well for us. The porch is big with plenty of room for all six of us to relax and play cards, the lake is right there with a nice clean shale beach (water shoes helpful) and dock. The dock wasn't very useful since it was so high out of the water. The water temps were very comfortable, we paddle boarded, kayaked and just had a blast playing in the water.
