We have stayed in the cabins at High Country Haven several times over the past few years, but this was the first time in this particular cabin. Once again, we very much enjoyed our stay. Although each cabin is a little different in layout, each one is comfortable, cozy, and charming. This cabin had the screened-in porch area that looked like it would have been wonderful except that the weather did not cooperate with us for any outdoor eating and relaxing. The bed was very comfortable, and the kitchen had all the essentials. We did enjoy the larger bathroom area that this cabin has. The property is located close to Franklin, yet the neighborhood is very quiet. A wonderful place to unwind and relax after exploring the town and surrounding mountains. We hope to come back.
We loved staying here! This is our 3rd time and one of the best cabins. The screened in porch is awesome and will definitely stay here again! I totally recommend and the host is great too!
Stayed here before in a different cabin without a loft. Loft is a little tight, just don’t sit up quickly. Unit was clean, host was attentive, and washer/dryer was nice amenity. Would stay again.
This is our third stay at High Country Haven and it did not disappoint. The area is so peaceful and quiet and provides a time to get away without being so far from restaurants and grocery stores. Highly recommend! The price is affordable and the cleanliness is a plus. This visit also allows us to travel with our two fur babies.
We were here at a weekend festival, so we didn’t have time to sit on the screened in porch or the deck, which had a beautiful view. I wish we could have stayed a little longer, but our weekend nights in the cabin were quite cozy and comfortable. The location was convenient also. Hopefully, we’ll be back next year.
Was a very nice stay. This cabin was very homely and warm. Also was nice and clean with a comfortable kitchen and living room area. The couple running it is also super sweet and willing to cater to any questions.

What was unique was there were no mosquitoes or other outdoor insects to prevent you from enjoying the porch in the evening and at night.
What we enjoyed was the cleanliness and the nice linens. We will definitely return in the future!!
Very much enjoyed our stay here. The bed was extremely comfortable and the entire cabin was very clean. We loved sitting on the screened porch during the evening with the dogs. Will definitely stay again!
We stayed overnight after a concert at Smoky Mtn Performing Arts Center. Everything was very clean and just as listed. The area/neighborhood was very quiet and peaceful.
Passing through. We wanted a change from hotels and motels. Quiet area. Bed was comfortable. Water was hot and had good water pressure. Quiet guests.

Very nice place, very comfortable, nice interior with a lot of detail. Kitchen well stocked with appliances that are very clean, the only thing missing was a toaster. I would recommend to anyone looking for a great place to stay.
Needed a quiet place to stay and have the grandkids visit overnight. We loved the screened in porch and table and chairs for breakfasts and game playing. Nice and cool in the summer heat also. Cute small playground for the kids. John was very nice and accommodating to visit with.
