Nestled on a quiet, wooded section of Lakeshore Drive, this charming cottage offers a peaceful setting just minutes from the best beaches, shops, wineries, and restaurants in Saugatuck, Douglas, and surrounding towns.

Inside, the cottage blends cozy, cabin-inspired charm with modern comforts. Two beautifully appointed bedrooms feature queen beds and quality linens, with additional sleeping in the den, sunroom, and the separate guest house. The bathroom is thoughtfully updated with a walk-in shower. The bathroom also holds a washer and dryer, making longer stays and family trips effortless.

The kitchen is fully equipped with modern appliances and plenty of space for preparing formal meals and afternoon snacks. The open layout flows seamlessly into the dining area, creating a welcoming spot for family meals or quiet mornings. The dining room opens to the living room—a warm, inviting space with a relaxed, cabin-inspired atmosphere. Soft natural light streams through the windows, highlighting cozy seating where you can curl up with a book by the fireplace, enjoy conversation, or watch your favorite show on the Smart TV. Grab your coffee and head out to the sunroom, where you can enjoy partial views of Lake Michigan through the trees and watch the world go by on Lakeshore Drive.

Outside, the backyard is a highlight, with tall pines surrounding a raised deck, comfortable lounge seating, a fire pit, and a private hot tub. Guests love spending evenings soaking in the hot tub, toasting s'mores, or enjoying a quiet moment under the stars. Partial views of Lake Michigan can be seen through the trees, with Pier Cove Beach just 1.2 miles away for a day filled with sun and sand.

Please Note:
- The detached cottage does not have a bathroom, heating, or cooling. There is a window AC unit in the summer and a small space heater in the winter. You will have to go outside and into the main house to use the bathroom.
- This home receives water via a well. Due to the high mineral content in our area, this water smells and tastes different than city water. Though the water is safe to drink, those who are accustomed to city water may wish to bring bottled water for drinking.
- This home is on a private septic system. To ensure proper function, please flush toilet paper only. Do not flush items such as wipes, feminine products, paper towels, or other materials, as they can cause damage or backups.
- This home is nestled in a beautiful natural setting where wildlife and insects are part of the charm. Routine pest control services are in place to ensure the comfort of our guests, but on occasion, a curious critter may make its way inside, especially if doors are left open. If you notice any evidence of pests indoors, please notify our office promptly so we can address the situation.
- The closest public beach access is 1.2 miles down the road at Pier Cove Beach. There is water nearby, but access is private.
- This property has a security camera located on the door closest to the road, monitoring only the driveway. It is motion-activated and records both video and sound.
