Amazing property right in downtown Custer. Easy access, super clean, loved being able to walk to stores and restaurants. Great parking options too! Thank you!
We had a wonderful stay in this condo! It was very clean, comfortable, and located right in downtown Custer, making it easy to walk to great restaurants, shops, and local attractions. The location was perfect for exploring the Black Hills, with easy access to hiking, Mount Rushmore, Crazy Horse Memorial, and Custer State Park. We thoroughly enjoyed our vacation and would gladly stay here again.
There is lots to do around the area so we spent every day exploring and this was the perfect spot to come back to in the evenings. There are several restaurants and shops nearby and the place was clean and had everything we needed.
This place was perfect for our family's trip. It was clean, had all the necessities we needed, and was located central to all our activities. Many restaurants and stores in walking distance.
Would recommend to anyone with a smaller group who is planning to take in Custer State Park and the surrounding areas.
Great location in downtown Custer and close to everything! The loft was nice. We were a bit surprised by being able to hear other people talking in the loft next to us. The other thing to know is that depending upon the time of year the loft does not have the ability to switch from air conditioning to heat because of the type of unit. We called the host and got a portable heater and that helped. The loft was clean and comfortable for us and the South Dakota scenery and weather didn’t disappoint!
We had a fabulous time spent here over the 4th of July. We were close to all of the festivities including the parade, a cute playground/park, fireworks, the grocery store, and good food options. It was fun to stay right in the small town of Custer and travel around to see many different historical sites in the area!
This property was a perfect location and size for our trip. After several nights in hotel rooms, it was nice to spread the family out in this clean and perfectly located loft. We were able to walk to dinner each night and Custer was a perfect location for our 2 nights in the Black Hills. This loft is a great base camp for our adventures.
Cute loft apartment with two bedrooms and living room area with pull out couch. Location is right on mainstreet within walking distance from several restaurants and shops. Easy parking and was quiet at night. No elevator so stair access only. Close to parks and tourist attractions.
This is the perfect place to stay for all of your Black Hills adventures! Located in downtown Custer within walking distance to shops, great restaurants, laundromat, and a grocery store. We were welcomed with a bottle of wine, a bucket of snacks, and a binder full of tourist information. Clean and very cozy. We would definitely stay here again.
The Needles loft was perfect for our family’s quick spring break trip to South Dakota. We loved being in a central location and having our own space in the evenings after the daytime adventures. The host welcomed us with a bottle of wine, bucket of snacks, and binder of travel information, all very much appreciated.
I can’t say enough wonderful things about this property! The hosts made the space incredibly cozy and welcoming. Downtown Custer is very family friendly with plenty of dining options and everything settles down around 9pm (which is perfect if you have kiddos). There’s a very cute playground a block or two away and access to trails right behind the house (Mickelson Trail and Custer Skywalk Trail). We will definitely be back!
We loved the location of this VRBO. Custer gives you a very "home town" feel. Everyone very friendly and we felt very safe. Safe enough to let my 14yr old granddaughter go out in the morning by herself to do her run! The trail behind the unit is awesome! Loved everyone of the restaurants we ate at! Good food; good people; good time!
