Great house for our stay while visiting Acadia! Location was excellent to check several different areas of the park. Tidal Falls is less than 10mins from the house and very cool to see. The house had everything needed to make meals. Great fire pit area with chairs. Definitely recommend!

Would stay here again.

Absolutely beautiful home with everything we needed. Clean and quiet, and great communication with host. A short drive out of Ellsworth so convenient to everything in the area.

The Getaway was a great home base for a beautiful week near Acadia National Park. The host was great at communicating and provided nice little touches for us. The furnishings could be a little more comfortable but the beds are great! The home is in a peaceful area, about a 40 minute drive to most Acadia hiking trails and a great mid-point between the main area of Acadia and the Schoodic Peninsula. Make sure to visit Tidal Falls for sunrise and during low tide!

We enjoyed our stay and some suggestions

We enjoyed our stay. We do have a couple suggestions for the host. A place to hang up clothes in the smaller bedroom would be helpful. Also, the chest of drawers in the smaller bedroom was very difficult to use.

Lovely

The home on Point Road in Hancock, ME is lovely. It is in a quiet neighborhood and the home has all the modern amenities. Although the house had an issue that needed attention, the host addressed it immediately and resolved it quickly. We enjoyed our stay and would rent the place again.

Beautiful Property

The cottage was beautiful and well maintained. It had everything we needed. The host was amazing and easy to communicate with. The commute to Acadia was far but we were away from the hustle and bustle of the tourist spot. It was very private and comfortable. Can’t wait until their hot tub is hooked up that would have been amazing after all that hiking. Felt like home.
