Recommendations

Enjoyed our stay! Only note is that there are no curtains on the bedroom and bathroom windows and random items missing from the kitchen (oven mits etc). Location is really pretty and the property is super quiet.

My family & I just checked out this morning but I wanted to write a review as soon as possible. This place is absolutely gorgeous and perfect for our little family of 5. It felt like a quaint oasis surrounded by nature. The hosts were so kind and helpful with recommendations on things to do. The only thing I would note is the bed in the master bedroom was creaky. Our three year old isn’t a light sleeper but she woke up a few times whenever we got up to use the bathroom or get a drink. There’s no AC as listed but that didn’t bother us at all. The fans in the room kept us cool to the point where we turned it off cause sometimes it was too cold. We didn’t use the stove or appliances as we explored a handful of towns for our meals so I can’t exactly review that aspect. However, a bunch of appliances, pots and utensils are available for use as well as a grill and stove if you are looking to cook from home. The jacuzzi was such a huge plus. We always took a dip after visiting neighboring towns. I can’t imagine booking a place without a jacuzzi from now on. Overall, this trip was exactly what we needed to unplug from the busy city life before back to school season starts. Highly recommend Knickerbocker Knoll!
