We had a lovely stay at Jessica's cabin. Check-in was very smooth, and Jessica's instructions for our stay were extremely clear and helpful. The house had everything we needed for our stay. Thank you!
Another great stay in Lackawaxen. This is our third stay here and it's always a pleasure to finally relax for a quiet weekend in the Poconos. We just can't get enough time soaking in the huge tub here. Jessica is a great host with wonderful hospitality skills. See you next year!
As soon as we walked in we noticed how clean and inviting everything was. We never wanted for anything during our stay. I must mention that the beds were very comfortable. The immediate response we received from Jessica was great. We will definitely be returning for another visit.
Perfect home in a wonderful community. It was the perfect spot to use as our home away from home. We adventured as far as Scranton and relaxed as close as Masthope Beach at Westcolang Lake.
Jessica was wonderful to work with and everything we needed was here. We plan to return again next summer.
This house and neighborhood were exactly what we needed - peace, quiet, and solitude away from the busyness of our area. Hiking each day, reading a good book on the couch and backyard, fires in the chiminea each evening and night. The weekend exceeded our expectations. We will be back!
Everything about this property and neighborhood is cozy, comfy, and welcoming. On Jessica's recommendation, we went to Glass for dinner. Do it! Next time will try during the day so we can see a different view. This is our 2nd time here since October and we hope to be back again!
Nice house in a great community with wonderful amenities. Pool complex. One primarily adults and great kiddie pool. Tiki bar. Horseback riding (need to book week before). Lake beach with kayaks and SUI’s. Want to go in winter as place in also on a ski mountain. Host very responsive

Yesenia pointed out that we didn’t have a blender in the house and we have since purchased one. There was also garbage left behind the house from the previous tenant and I was not aware. But the minute Yesenia told me about it, I sent someone there to take care of it. We try our best to make sure our guests have an enjoyable stay so I was sad to see the 2 star review. We hope we can make it up to her if she ever returns to stay at our cozy cabin.
This house in the woods is the best time I’ve had on a weekend vacation I’ve had in a while. Jessica was amazingly helpful-offering advice on where to get some groceries on the way down, the cabin had a whole book filled with FAOs and how to operate certain things. The windows made for an adorable, fall landscape this time of year, and the stillness was so relaxing. The bathroom, and tub especially, were clean and functioned perfectly, and there was no lack of hot water. The beds were comfortable, and the total darkness made for some great sleep. A wonderful time, and relaxing getaway all around.
Jessica was amazing too. Super accommodating, and always responsive. She even looked up where we were coming form to recommend where to get some things on the way down- as, really, this cabin IS a 30min drive from anything- and that's what makes it so relaxing. Wish I could rate it higher.

Thank you for the great review, Michael! It was an absolute pleasure hosting you and your family. We hope you come stay with us again soon. Happy holidays to you and yours! :)
My family and I really enjoyed our stay. The property was clean, quiet and was well-stocked with essentials. The only thing I would advise is if you want to use the amenities, be sure to read how to access and the rules. We lost a card and the lady at the administration office wasn’t very helpful. It was the last day and she stressed the “rule” that we aren’t allowed to use the pools or anything on the last day. We were never told that and my girls were really upset about it. Jessica let us have a late check out, but that didn’t matter apparently. Next time we’ll know better. Beware of all the administration’s rules.
The community was great. So much to do. Jessica was very responsive and easy to work with. The outdoor area was not really a place to be able to spend time. The front was over grown with trees and bushes. Once we swept up the back patio we were able to sit out there but the rest of the property was over grown. Only 1 portable AC didn't cut it. There was 10 windows in the living & dining room area, however only 5 windows had screens. If you don't have. AC it would be nice to be able to open all the windows. The upside is you don't spend much time at the house except for the evening. Overall o was it was a good stay

Thank you, Stephanie! We are working on estimates to install ductless systems now for the summer. Otherwise we will have at least 1 or 2 more portable AC's put in for the summer so this will be taken care of. We hope you stay with us again in the near future and we promise to have a better AC system in place by then. Happy Holidays to you and yours :)
My husband and I stayed here with our five kids aged 6-16. The house was cute, super clean, really well-stocked, and in a beautiful area. Jessica was really easy to communicate with and responded very quickly!
To use the amenities (pool, lake, mini golf, tennis courts, etc) at the resort community, you do have to pay an extra $8 per person per day once you get there. The community administrators are real sticklers, too, and anything extra is an extra $10-25 fee — so to dump our trash before checking out, we had to pay $10 because the trash compactor is closed on Tuesday. Not a huge deal, but something to look out for!
We chose not to pay for the amenities and found a lot to do within about a 30-minute drive. We fished in the Lackawaxen (right by the Zane Grey museum), rafted down the Delaware, hiked to the Raymondskill waterfalls. Everything is about a half hour drive.
We were here at the end of July, and it was absolutely beautiful, but I could see us really enjoying this home in the winter for skiing, too!

Thank you, Victoria! Yes, the compactor hours are very strange, especially when it's not high season. I had made a note of this in the welcome email we send to all of our guests and we started including a screenshot of the hours within the email as well so people are aware of this.
It was an absolute pleasure hosting you and your family! We hope you and your family return to stay with us again soon! Happy Holidays :)
