Lake Anna Waterfront 3BR House on Private Side with High Speed Internet

Welcome to Tips Inn, a 3000 Sq. Ft. A Frame Lakefront home directly on Lake Anna with 100' of prime waterfront on the private side. The house has 2 screened porches (one is at the dock), and 700 sq. ft. of decking to enjoy. The dock can accommodate your boat or jet ski. The launch ramp is right around the corner. You can play soccer, football, or frisbee on the nearly one acre lot, or just relax on one of the decks outside and enjoy the view.

Inside, the master suite takes up the whole third floor, and boasts a king size bed, 32" flat screen TV with DVD player, and its own bathroom complete with jacuzzi tub and heated tile floor. There is also a loft area outside of the master bedroom which is set up as a reading/music area. There are two bedrooms on the main floor. One features a queen bed with its own bathroom with stand up shower, and the other has a full size bed and a bunk bed. Both of these bedrooms have 22" flat screen TVs and DVD players.

The great room features a 55" flat screen TV and DVD/VCR player, and two sliding doors that open up to the huge deck. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to cook your favorite meal. The screened porch off the great room is a perfect place to eat dinner with a dining area for six people, and a propane grill for you to cook that perfect steak.

In the walk out basement, you will find a 50" plasma TV, Blu-Ray player with surround sound, and X-Box game console to enjoy. You can also play ping pong or one of the many board games provided. A twin over twin bunk bed provides sleeping accommodations, and a full bath with shower/tub is on this level as well. We also use a professional linen service to provide sheets and towels that will exceed your expectations.

Outdoor activities include swimming, kayaking, waterskiing, wakeboarding, fishing and boating. Two kayaks with paddles and life vests are available for guest use.

If the weather is not cooperating, there is a ping pong table, board games, DVD's, Xbox video games, and Dish network satellite service is on every TV.

Very comfortable home - laid out perfectly for what we needed . And the walk to the dock was very easy - too bad the water was so warm (almost hot) - but still gorgeous .. home was well equipped - the screened in area at the dock was awesome - the outlets however didn’t work nor the fan - but didn’t matter . Great stay !

Nice property

We had a great time staying at the property. The house was plenty big enough to house my family group of 9. The house was neatly kept, and the boathouse was a nice to hang out in while the kids were swimming. Our only complaint was how hot the lake water was, but nothing could be done about that.

Ladies night get away

We loved this house. Great view. Peaceful and quiet. So many different locations to hang out. We especially loved the two screened in porches. So we were able to be outside all day even when it rained. Everyone agreed we would like to book it again.

Beautiful lake

Each year friends of mine that I’ve known for 35 years get together to catchup. This weekend’s trip was the best yet! The house is absolutely beautiful and being able to sit on the deck in the morning drinking coffee while staring out over the water made time stand still. The one and only negative thing about this visit was the temperature of the lake. Obviously out of the owner’s control but jumping into a lake that is 90 degrees is not very refreshing in August. Everything else was wonderful!

Peace full Lake side Retreat

Everything was as described as, about property.Host was very cooperative, check in and check out process was smooth , well equipped Lake front kitchen, good restaurant's and food Lion is near by,8/ 10 miles away. Overall we enjoyed our stay, definitely we will come back

Never want to leave

Everything about this house was perfection! The location, the view, the house, the kitchen and house layout. Additionally, I have never stayed in a house as well stocked as this one! Wow!! We never left the house during our 4 night stay except to walk up to the gas station/market for an occasional breakfast sandwich or ice cream! The convenience was everything!! The water was a balmy 90 degrees and we loved ever minute of it because the kids never wanted to get out! The two kayaks were a treat and we brought our stand up paddle board too. We trolled around the lake and saw so many big beautiful birds! I really shouldn’t write such an amazing review because now I will have to fight with other people to rent this house- but I wanted everyone to know how great it was! Thank you!

Great time at Lake Anna

This is our first time staying at this property, but it won't be our last. It is in a great location and we took advantage of the dock for our boat. It is well maintained and the photos are accurate. Communication with the owners was very easy and they were always responsive to our requests and inquiries.

Amazing Weekend Getaway!We had a fantastic weekend at this beautiful lake house! The home was spacious, clean, and perfect for a family getaway — with three bedrooms, a fun basement equipped with a table tennis setup, and a huge backyard with easy access to the lake.My brother-in-laws and I had an absolute blast playing ping pong, while our kids (ages 4 and 3) loved running around and exploring the outdoors. The peaceful lake view made it even more special.To top it off, I accidentally left my phone behind, and the hosts were extremely responsive and helpful. They coordinated everything perfectly, and I’ll be picking it up this weekend — a big thanks for going above and beyond!Highly recommend this place for anyone looking to unwind with family or friends. A great place for friends to gather

My family and friends have had the pleasure of renting this property twice now and we have enjoyed ourselves enormously both times. The kitchen is big enough that we can cook as a group for communal meals and we really enjoy the dock and the entertainment amenities provided in the lower part of the house.

Beautiful Home with gorgeous views!

My husband and I enjoyed a couple days away together at Tipton's Inn. The house was beautiful. Every room was comfortable, tastefully decorated, very clean and it had everything we needed to enjoy our stay there. We loved the large windows over-looking the lake. We look forward to our next getaway to Tipton's Inn. We only hope that next time we can stay longer!

A relaxing, comfortable house to stay.

My family and I stayed here the week oh August 11, 2013. We had a wonderful time. We spent so much time on both screened-in porches. The weather was terrific too. The house was very comfortable for us. Plenty of room. Very clean all around
