We had a wonderful stay at The Pine House in Black Mountain, North Carolina. The house is very close to downtown Black Mountain and convenient to restaurants, churches, gas stations, and yet, it was quiet and private. We really enjoyed our stay.
Nice place. Walkable to music venue at Pisgah Brewing, the primary reason for my visit. Convenient location for day hikes at Catawba Falls and Lookout Mt / Montreat. Nearby Dripolator opens early for pre-hike coffee and Cousin Cuban Cafe is a hearty post-hike meal. I always make time for Asheville. South slope and a meal at Nine Mile is an ideal afternoonevening.
Property was perfect location for a girls trip to explore National Parks for hiking, shopping and general touring of Asheville, Black Mountain, Biltmore, Old Fort and Brevard.
The house was very cute and had everything for two people for a long weekend. We really enjoyed the fire table outside in the evenings. It is not really walking distance to anything but just a short 5-10 minute drive to restaurants and shops.
Loved the space. It was modern, clean and convenient to town. Each bedroom had a full bathroom. Everything about it was extremely nice and comfortable. Highly recommend :)
Absolutely phenomenal spot! The house was perfect for our quick weekend trip for a mountain race in Pisgah! Super clean, comfortable, and easy access to all the beauty and fun of the surrounding area! 10/10!
Very nice place! All very new and excellent condition. Very close to downtown Black Mountain and just a short drive to Asheville. Host was excellent and very responsive. Will definitely stay there again!
The Pine House was a terrific place to spend a long weekend in the mountains. Pictures were accurate. The home was comfortable and very clean. The kitchen was well stocked and efficient for meal prep. The refrigerator is an excellent size, located in the utility room with the stackable washer and dryer. The upstairs bedroom and bathroom are larger than the downstairs. We appreciated the lovely decor and toiletries supplied. Kitchen and cleaning supplies were plentiful. We needed sleep masks at night since the downstairs bedroom has one window without any blinds. There is a street light outside. The Pine House is close to downtown Black Mountain and the local Ingles grocery store but still feels remote. Beds were comfortable. Check in and check out was stress-free. We had a quiet and restful visit!
The Pine House was very cute with the style of house and the decor. Very comfortable beds and large bedrooms. Living room is small with dining table that pulls out. Small kitchen, but it is organized well. Great place to sleep and quick visit. Black bear was sighted in the woods behind house. No problems. Enjoyed the quiet and trees.
