We got the elevator / lift !!! Now no need to use the stairs :-)

This flat is in a 'finca regia' (historical buiding to be preserved), fully refurbished, with 2 sleeping rooms, kitchen, bathroom and dining room.

Just refurbished flat, in a 'finca regia', that is an historical façade, in downtown Gràcia part of Barcelona city.

In Gràcia part of the city you will be just in the middle of all the Gaudi's master works, that is Sagrada Familia, Parc Guell and La Pedrera (first picture).

The apartment is located in Torrent de l'Olla, close to Plaça del Sol, the market, Verdi cinemas, many restaurants, and all those items in a designer & artist atmosphere.

From an old apartment we have created an unique atmosphere mixing the vintage part and the newest materials, with hand-made furniture and lamps and designer furniture and lamps (Resol, My Oruga, Kare Design, Paul Neuhaus, Paulmann, Comes).

The air conditioning and the heating, good mattresses, and balcony will be top to enjoy some days of relax in vibrant Barcelona.

Being in Gracia suburb is a must to dive in design & creative Barcelona, you will see that!

You will enjoy free high speed WIFI 24 hours.

For children we offer games, books, high chair and bed for baby, if needed.

If you are coming by plane, we can arrange for you the pick up at the airport and driving to the flat.

If you are coming by car, we will tell how to find best prices for parking.

I was a bit overwhelmed when I dropped my bags, but the lady was very nice and inviting. She helped me find my way to the convenient metro station. Very clean.

Very nice apartment. Nice to do laundry after being on a cruise. Great area and easy walk to nice bars and restaurants. Close to Güell Park too

Excellent!

We stayed for one week in the apartment. Everything was perfect. We loved the neighborhood and the two squares on either side of us were filled with restaurants, cafes, and bars. The small Condis grocer had everything we needed and it was super easy to either hail an Uber from the front sidewalk or grab any green lit taxi driving by. Highly recommend.

Good location but needs better management

I lived in Barcelona so I knew I wanted to stay in Gracia while there. It is a unique neighborhood close to many restaurants and shopping. However, our experience was not totally as expected. Communication-We speak Spanish so I thought communication would flow smoothly but it was not the case. Every time we asked a question we first got an automated response, then Teo would refer us to Patricia, who never replied, and then Teo would reply. Even when we were at the apartment, we called Patricia and she never answered and her voicemail box was full so we couldn't even leave a message. So we ended up contacting Teo after he had asked us to contact Patricia. Cleanliness- This is my biggest complaint. When we arrived, we were surprised to find ants crawling all over the kitchen. The dishes in the dishwasher had been left dirty for who knows how long. So we turn it on and get the ants out of there. Also, the bathroom had a couple of towels hanging, which looked like they had been used. This two instances left me uneasy with the level of care and cleanliness of the place. Also, some tiles in the shower had mold. Space- The Apartment was spacious, nicely decorated, with a modern bathroom, kitchen had all the cooking essentials. Shampoo and shower gel were provided; which is a nice touch. It seems a lot of care went into setting it up, it just hasn't been maintained as well. Location- is good and not noisy. Die Wohnung liegt im schönen, lebhaften Gracia. Das Haus liegt an einer Einbahnstraße, aber dennoch hat man viel Verkehr, den man auch hört. Wer es ruhig braucht, sucht besser woanders. Die Mieter im Haus haben wir aber kaum gehört. Die Wohnung liegt im vierten Stock und das ist es gut, dass es einen Aufzug gibt. In der Wohnung findet man alles, was man braucht. Auch ein paar Basis-Lebensmittel waren vorhanden. Spülmaschinen-Tabs waren auch ausreichend da. Die Betten sind recht neu und durchaus bequem.Bad und WC sind neu und die Wohnung war sehr sauber. Zu dritt war genug Platz. So passten wir auch alle auf das bequeme Sofa - sowas braucht man ja nach einem langen Tag in Barcelona. Ansonsten gibt es nur Stühle. Am Esstisch konnten vier Personen sitzen. Es gibt Internet, aber kein Smart-TV. Also auch lediglich spanische Sender. Die Spiele-Auswahl findet sich ziemlich zusammengewürfelt in einem Karton - wir haben nicht versucht, dass zu sortieren. Ach ja: das schöne Gebäude auf dem Foto ist nicht das Haus mit der Ferienwohnung! Barcelona-Kenner haben das sowieso erkannt - ich nicht. Allerdings ist das jetzt in der Objektbeschreibung auch ganz deutlich zu lesen. In der Nähe gibt es viele Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und gute Lokale. Metro und Bus sind nicht weit weg. Das Auto braucht man in Barcelona wirklich nicht. Direkt gegenüber der Wohnung gibt es Super-Eis - unbedingt probieren (lasst euch nicht durch die kleinen Becher täuschen: da passt viel rein!).

Great place - clean, conveniently located, and spacious for our needs. As Canadians we are used to A/C so that was a hard adjustment for us as one of the rooms didn’t have it at all and the window had to stay open... It’s also very close to the garbage which gets collected in the middle of the night, but otherwise, we were very happy with our place and where it was for getting around. Our flight also arrived very early and they allowed us to drop-off our luggage and pick up the key so that we could enjoy the day in Barcelona - ¡Muchas gracias!

Saubere Unterkunft mit guter Lage

Die Kommunikation und der Check in waren unkompliziert und sehr freundlich. Alles hat ohne Probleme funktioniert. Die Wohnung ist sauber. Abends und nachts ist ein gewisser Lärmpegel vorhanden. Die Matratzen sind okay. Ein großes Laken ist jeweils als Decke vorhanden.

Wonderful Experience

We were checking in for one day to go to the Barcelona Futbol game. They accommodated us needing to check in early and leave our bags in the place. Very easy to get to stadium from here due to metro green being close.

Great location

The picture of the building on the listing is a bit misleading and on arrival thought this is not where i thought we were staying and therefore initially felt disappointed. However we loved the location, lots of lovely squares, artisan shops and great restaurants. On saturday the place comes alive with a great street market. The area is full of local people and we felt we had a true spanish experience. The apartment worked well and had everything we needed and was great value for money for Barcelona. We would definately return

Great apartment in a great part of the city, brilliant local festival and helpful hosts

We had a great stay in Gracia, luckily during the Festa Major local festival with decorated streets and music. The apartment had everything we needed and is well located to walk to Sagrada, Parc Guell, Casas Batllo, Pedrero and Vicens. The local ice cream parlours, coffee shops and bakeries were wonderful - recommend Dellaostia ice creams opposite.

Perfect stay in Gracia neighborhood

This apartment was perfectly located. We liked the fact that it was more of a neighborhood feel. We made ourselves comfortable in a space that fit our family of four (our kids are 8 and 10). It was clean and we really appreciated the AC of which there were two (one in Main LR and other in bedroom). We had dinner/snacks at some of the local places including the Gelateria on the corner and Cafe del Sol in the plaza about one block away. There's a little playground and it allowed out boys to entertain themselves and meet some other children. Mae who greeted us was very accommodating and let us drop our bags (even though the apt wasn't cleaned yet) - we were all exhausted after a long flight. I would stay here again and would recommend it to others - don't hesitate to book. Thanks for the warm welcome. We very much enjoyed our visit to BCN.

This flat is a shared dream with my French wife, Hélène, and my 3 children.

All the designed furniture and lamps was my wife's idea, I am always the tough guy dealing with suppliers to get the best prices :-)

Why they chose this property

Barcelona city is where we lived together, my wife Hélène and myself, from 1998 to 2002.

We moved to Sant Cugat suburb but we promised ourselves to trying to buy our own apartment in Gracia, to coming back to retire, and meanwhile renting it to people interested in knowing more about Gracia suburb and Barcelona as a whole.

What makes this property unique

You will like the apartment as soon as you will see it in pictures (more pictures will be soon available, but we couldn't wait anymore to show you our flat).

As soon as you are in front of the building, you will see this old well preserved façade and you will see the iron hand-made door, 100 years old, and you will be in it.

Till we have not yet the elevator, you will go upstairs, all in iron hand-made, observing the vintage doors and the natural light coming from the roof, till you will be in front of your new house.

The flat has been refurbished with much love and for you and for us. We want to share it with you!

On the right side you will see the refurbished flat but trying to leave it as it was, 100 years ago. That means we 'saved' the floor and the roof (see pictures).

In front of you, you will the see hand-made furniture with old tiles made by Justo, and a porcelain lamp made by Arianna Russo, our italian artist friend.

On the left side, a perfect new kitchen and bathroom, with best materials and Bosch machines.

On the left side at the end, the other sleeping room, with a modern design style.

On both rooms my wife created the bed tables from old cupboards. The result is amazing, like a children's dream, you will see and experience it!

2 air conditioning and several heating machines will ensure you a comfortable stay.

The kitchen is fully equipped (washing machine, dryer, oven, fridge, dishwasher and microwaves).

For children we offer games, books, high chair and bed for baby, if needed.

If you are coming by plane, we can arrange for you the pick up at the airport and driving to the flat.
