Great location. Perfect place to drop our bags and rest our heads for the night. Nothing fancy, but we appreciated having a place that allowed a one night stay.
Wonderful property and great location. Thanks again!

This place has been closed for months, we were not notified and arrived to a locked property. The owner informed us that it had been closed for months.
There were definite highs and lows to this property. The rooms were very clean and there was great entertainment options (games available to play) and lots of beds, which is what we wanted.
However, we really wanted the hot tub which this property advertised, but was clearly not being uproot or available for use. There was one line in the posting, that the water is not drinkable. I applaud that this property is so green, but it was somewhat inconvenient for utilizing water. The biggest complaint though were the beds. They were rock hard and actually have us back issues the following morning.
The location so close to the national Park was great.

Host went into our room unannounced.
We arrived to our room at check in time, 4 pm. The room smells clean, but the beds are stripped not made. The linens are on the living room table and stacked on the bed. There is food from the previous guests in the fridge. Alll of this seems fine. Not the best but fine. We drop off our belongings and go out to dinner. When we get back to the room at 6pm there are people in it. This makes me incredibly uncomfortable. It is the host amd the housekeeper. The host says "i hope its ok that we came in to finish cleaning". No it is not ok. Our belongings are in her already. Its 6 pm. She said she sent and email asking if it was ok. Well why would I think to check my email during dinner? And no response does not mean its ok. To enter a room that is occupied. So we decided to leave, there was a violation of privacy and I felt uncomfortable that she felt it was ok to
enter unannounced. She offered a refund and we have yet to receive one. This was
a very weird and uncomfortable experience. One star. All our belongs are accounted for at least.

Liked: Cleanliness, location
The place felt a little rundown and in need of maintenance. The toilet wasn’t even fixed to the wall, and the taps in the shower moved all the pipes when you turned them. Even the driveway (which was flooded due to rain, which can’t be helped) has low hanging dead tree fern fronds which scraped the top and side of the car everytime we went through. These should have been cut off, especially knowing everyone staying pretty much has a hire cars that needs returning in mint condition. It did look cosy and nice, with a log cabin feel, but overall could do with some love. I did find the bed super comfortable though, which is a plus, and the property in the rainforest was beautiful.
The location is so convenient to access volcanoes national. The check in process was easy. Unfortunately, we had 4 guests in our reservation and the property only had 2 towels. The beds are wildly uncomfortable and really this should be marketed as 2 adults and possibly kids the other beds are not for adults and all of them are very uncomfortable.
