About this property

Updated Ski in/Ski Out Studio - Great Views - Deck - Affordable

Just take the elevator to the ground floor and you are steps away from the Six Pack lift. Our 500 SF studio condo (Unit 526) is located on the 5th floor of the Eolus building which is located in the heart of the main plaza - making your vacation as convenient as possible. The views of the Needles mountain range from the private balcony are amazing.

There is also a wood-burning fireplace (firewood is provided) as well as free high-speed wireless internet and the kitchen is equipped with cooking utensils, pots/pans etc., dishwasher and a washer/dryer are located in the unit.

Double pull out sofa (more then 1 adult is not recommended for the pull out sofa).

There is one assigned parking space on the 2nd floor of the building and additional vehicles can be parked in the main ski lot. The Eolus building features 2 hot tubs (year around) on the ground floor.

For an optional 4% resort fee, you will have access to the Durango Mountain Club which includes an outdoor heated pool with slide, outdoor hot tub and workout facility. The 4% resort fee included in the quote is the required resort fee that must be charged and does not allow access to the Durango Mountain Club. When booking, just advise if you would like the extra 4% resort fee added.

Book at least a week and a 10% discount is automatically applied (Excludes Christmas/New Years).

Due to HOA rules, the condo (and all condos in the building) is not pet friendly. Please do not bring your pets/emotional support animals.

The location was excellent, amenities were as described, and communication was great. My only complaint was a sewage smell coming from the bathroom. We communicated this to VRC, and they promptly sent someone over to temporarily help the situation. It is now our understanding that it is a building wide situation and they will be doing a remodel in the near future. Hopefully other guests will not experience this issue after the remodel.

Great location and cozy condo

The studio condo is great for 2 people; it was cozy and comfortable, with a wood burning fireplace. The bed was comfy and water pressure was awesome and hot (especially nice after a day skiing!). The location is fantastic! Ski lifts are right outside, and Purgatory Village with food and shops is within a few minutes walk. The host was very responsive when I had a few questions and when I requested an extra blanket. Looking forward to staying here again when we come back to ski Purgatory.

Renting through VRC has the added benefit of access to resort pool, hot tub, and gym without an added fee. Loved that. The kitchen is perfect for 2 people - we were able to create good meals in the kitchen. Property management was really responsive (which was important) - we had some pretty foul smells coming from the bathroom sink and shower drain. PM maintenance was able to mitigate it while we were away. The foul smell and some general wear and tear are my reasons for the 4-star rating on condition. Covered parking during winter is wonderful and super convenient. Overall - an excellent value. I would definitely recommend this property to a friend.
