Are you ready for a luxury 5-floor penthouse 60 ft from water, 150 reviews

This property is a family-owned 800 square foot tower apartment on the shores of the Gulf of Mexico. It is part of the Zilli Collection. Each with the Zilli touch of amazing view, decor, (not typical wicker furniture, silly beach artifacts, 40 year old flooring, one SIZE fits all, etc.). We call it upscale coastal. The properties are more of a resort, 5 star hotel feel. We own an elegant upscale home next door, a penthouse unit, a direct walk out unit, along with 2 units with the option to connect into one suite.

You’ll find everything you need on-site from free WIFI to dishes, linens, towels and even a few extras you may need for your stay like puzzles and soap. There is a pool and a covered area with grills and picnic tables overlooking the beach. Hope to see you soon at one of my beautiful vacation homes. All you need is your bathing suit and a toothbrush. The beach is just steps away.

This resort is not a place of public accommodation as defined by the ADA and, therefore, does not meet the accessibility requirements of the ADA. The condo was great! We needed something last minute and Jim couldn’t have been better to communicate with. Balcony was my favorite part… beach is right there, view is amazing. Saw some great wildlife (birds) and even a dolphin. Would stay here again!

I’ve owned rental property in both the Caribbean and Costa Rica and I have to say that Jim’s communication is top notch. He is very quick to respond and very through from check-in to check-out. The unit was nicely renovated, clean and centrally located on LBK. The staff is very friendly and the common areas and grounds are well maintained. Where do I start. This condo is beautiful in every way. The decor is definitely not from the sales rack. The host goes beyond the norm, don’t hesitate to ask about anything. The view is one of the best and only a few steps from the beach. Hosts like this spoil you and I loved it!!

My husband and I were very satisfied with our stay. The view was amazing! We are looking forward to coming back again. We just a little issue at check-in. Our room key had not been placed into the lockbox but it was quickly resolved. We also were very pleased with the kitchen having everything needed for cooking. We loved how private it was as well.

Location was excellent. Had an incredible view was truly ON THE BEACH! The condo was very clean. We had. Sunday check-in and the unit was available early for us, which allowed us to start our day earlier on the beach! Washer and dryer are provider on site but not in the unit so pack accordingly. The unit does provide cooler, umbrella and chairs! We would definitely rebook!

Beautiful condo with an amazing view steps from the beach! Comfy beds, attentive owner, and very nice furnishings grant this stay 5 stars! It has a kitchenette with everything you could ever need. The property and condo owner provide beach chairs, umbrellas, cooler, putt putt clubs and balls and shulffle board fun! 4 gas grill are on site. Pavilions by the beach are a nice feature. And, the view is worth one more mention, amazing!

The property was easy to find. The receptionist at the office was very professional & quite friendly. She looked up our name & immediately gave us the entrance keys to the apartment. When we arrived at the apartment the view was magnificent & the kitchen was fully equipped with a stove, refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, blender & toaster. It has everything you need to whip up a delicious meal. We stayed for only 5 days, but it was wonderful & will definitely come back!

Hannah was amazing. No other word for it classy classy classy had a problem with the air conditioning. It's a new one but something got plugged up. We had to bring a technician. There was no drama with her. She was just completely gracious over the top.

Jim Zilli grew up in the Milwaukee, Wisconsin, area. He started coming to Longboat Key in the early 1980's. Jim chose this Tower 503 property as it was the perfect vacation property with an amazing gulf view. Jim had previously purchased the nearby two-bedroom villa and came to live in Longboat Key full-time in 2009. The Tower 503 has upscale touches equivalent to a Ritz or St. Regis suite.

Jim is CEO in the family’s Wisconsin on off-site catering special events business, so he has ample experience in hospitality. He finds great enjoyment and satisfaction helping guests have amazing vacations in his properties – many of whom come back year after year. “I have many families who I have gotten to know over the years and spent time , dining , golfing , helped them find realtors, and more,” says Jim.

Clients have complimented Jim’s style as attentive and not pushy. They appreciate he will check in with them during their stay. He wants renters to know he’s there for them.

Why they chose this property

The most obvious reason Jim chose Longboat Key is the weather and beauty of this location, and the Villa is located just steps from a world-class beach. Guests never run out of things to do, whether it’s enjoying the nightlife in nearby Sarasota or simply collecting shells along the white sand beach. The weather provides just enough variety so you won’t be bored. Unlike other areas of Florida, Longboat Key is quiet, safe and has a small-town feel he enjoys. The area feels remote and natural yet it’s easy to access with the Sarasota airport just 7 miles east of Sarasota or from Tampa, which is 40 minutes away.

One of Jim’s favorite things to do is golf, and (there are several world-class courses within a 20-minute drive). He also enjoys movies, and recommends the annual film festival in Sarasota. He keeps a running list of the many, many things there are to do in the area - so whether you like to swim, sunbathe, walk on the beach, golf, shop, or all of the above, Jim’s guests find plenty to keep themselves entertained. At the same time, the secluded location offers privacy and quiet so if you, like most of us, need to catch up on rest while you’re here, you can fall asleep to nothing more than the gentle sound of the surf.
