Enjoy a relaxing stay at this modern, open-concept waterfront lakehouse—perfect for families and groups of up to eight. With four comfortable bedrooms and a full bathroom on each floor, there’s plenty of space for everyone to unwind.

The main level features a bright, open layout that brings the kitchen, dining, and living areas together, making it easy to connect and enjoy time as a group. Large windows offer beautiful views of the mountains and yard—ideal for games, picnics, and gatherings

Sleeping arrangements include 3 king bedrooms, a bunk room with 2 twin beds. The spacious upstairs primary suite also has a pullout twin, and cozy sitting area

Step outside to take full advantage of lake life. The back deck and outdoor dining table (seating for six) are perfect for evening games and meals in the fresh air. The private dock provides easy access to the water, with shallow swimming that’s especially great for kids, plus space to bring or park a boat.

Convenience and fun are just steps away, with a snack shop, ice cream stand, and general store all within walking distance. You’re also close to local attractions like nearby hiking trails, paddle boat rentals, and family-friendly restaurant.

This home was perfect for our family weekend getaway. We enjoyed being inside as well as doing a bit of ice fishing on the lake. Accessing the ice from the state park was easy since the ice directly in front of the home hadn’t frozen over yet.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful lakefront home during our recent weekend in VT. The house was spotlessly clean, thoughtfully decorated, and had everything we needed for a comfortable weekend away. Even though it was too cold to enjoy the big deck and lake views to their fullest, we could still appreciate the peaceful scenery from inside. The space was perfect for our group of three couples — plenty of room for everyone to relax without feeling crowded. We’d love to come back when the weather is warmer to fully enjoy all this lovely property has to offer!

Wonderful retreat close to Middlebury

Beautiful lake house with a view!! Wonderful time with our family while visiting our son at Middlebury College. Great stay, location, clean and nice place with plenty of room for family. We had a perfect stay!

The location of the house was very nice, but it had a serious mouse infestation problem, especially inside the kitchen drawers and cabinets.The drawer with the forks and knives had mice droppings. The cabinet with the cutting boards too, and so were several others.We used those utensils before noticing the problem. When we realized the problem was serious, the owner told us she would refund our money if we found another place.When we found another place, we only received a partial refund.VRBO was fantastic, and with just one call and excellent customer service, this problem was resolved

Sadly, this is not a true representation of what happened and 100% of their money was refunded right away and I have screenshots proving this. We had guests at the house who left the day these people arrived and had been there for 2 days prior and they did not find or see evidence of mice. The house was cleaned the afternoon these guest arrived and then when they let us know they saw an issue we had our housecleaner go right over. These guest then proceeded to pull out our refrigerator to try to find additional evidence. They let me know of this issue 48 hours after arriving on a Friday afternoon. I immediately called our pest guy who was out of town and could not get there until first thing Monday morning. He did come and service the property early on Monday and has been back several times and has assured us the issue was not as dire as indicated below. I have videos and truly believe this does not reflect the over 20 plus 5 star reviews we have always received. I was more than generous offering to give them 100% of their money back after not hearing about this until 1.5 days after they arrived at our property. They received 3 free nights.
