WORST EXPERIENCE! WILL NEVER BE BACK!
This was the worst experience I’ve ever had. The house was absolutely disgusting. There were mice poop and bugs in the home. We found bugs in the coffee pot, the bathrooms, and outside the property. There were multiple mice traps so this has obviously been a recurring issue. The sheets had hair in them from the previous renters. The toilet did not flush and made the house smell like sewer because it was clogged. The floors made our feet black because they hadn’t been swept or mopped in who knows how long. The Garbage disposal didn’t work. The Floorboards were coming up. The doors were coming off the hinges. The listing said “air conditioning and heating”. The house does not have AC and there are only two small heating units for the entire house. The listing is VERY misleading. They overcharged me for the dog fee. The fee is listed as $20/night. I stayed for 2 nights so $40 total. They charged me $50. I contacted the property 3 times for almost 2 hours on the phone to get it resolved. I received no word from the “local” team. I still have not received a call back 4 days later. They never sent someone to fix the issues or clean the house. I had to wash my own sheets, clean the counters and coffee pot, sweep the floors, etc. I will NEVER book with them again and have contemplated never using Vrbo if this is the standard of quality. I want a refund for my inconvenience and I recommend you remove the listing. I have pictures and videos if you would like validation of my review.

Great location, very private!
My kids and I had a fun time in Boone and enjoyed the property very much! It was centrally located to everything we had planned, and stocked with everything we needed. The house is a little older, but you can see the owners are working to make updates, which are really nice. Our only complaint would be regarding the heating/insulation/drafty windows. It was wet and cold (upper 30's/low 40's) and the heat pump had to work overtime. We loved the pool table and snuggling on the big couch!
