About the host
Hosted by Russ or Gayle Gray
We built this house ourselves on land that my husband's parents owned. We work for the local school system (teacher and Director of Maintenance & Transportation). We have 3 children - one who is grown with his own family, one entering college this fall, and one who will be a sophomore in high school this fall. We grew up on this island and love it here. We love to camp, walk/hike, golf, and follow local sports teams. We feel fortunate that our neighbors are our friends and that this 'village' has truly helped us to raise our children.
Why they chose this property
This home sits on a piece of land once owned by my husband's parents. We chose to build a home here because it is in a beautiful location that provides a safe environment for our children. The school system is one of the best in the state (Blue Ribbon Award last year), and there are many opportunities for young people in this area. We love the quiet of the 'off season', but enjoy the excitement that comes in the summer. We feel lucky to live on this island!
