The stay was fantastic. The drive to get to the house is very remote or primitive so take the note of 4x4 or AWD to heart when booking.

Very nice, secluded property. The terrain was definitely steep but no trouble with 4 wheel drive. Caught some fish, relaxed by the fire, had a great time, the kids really enjoyed the woods and things to do around the area. Thank you for allowing us the stay in your house.

Great location, as long as you follow the directions about needing an AWD vehicle. Great house, very comfortable and well appointed. Great communication and interaction with the hosts. Fully recommend this house if looking for someplace in Hocking Hills!

They’re not joking about needing 4WD! If you get carsick the roads leading up to the area are quite bumpy so I would prepare for that however you would need. Only thing to improve that I can think of is that it was very rainy while we were there and I couldn’t find something to cover the firepit just in case things dried up. That could also be my lack of ability to find things.

It's a very nice home and quite spacious. Thank you so much for all the kitchen necessities. The hot tub was clean and very nice to sit in on cooler nights. We had a great time and thanks you for allowing us to use your lovely home. And that driveway is a doozy.

Great weekend getaway

Property was well-appointed. Road and driveway were somewhat difficult to maneuver . Warning of "4 wheel drive required" was no joke!

We appreciate Marcia's kind review and we're thrilled they enjoyed their stay with us! Feedback is a cruical component in insuring we are providing a best in class travel experience for every guest and we're greatful Marcia took the time to share! As noted multiple times in the listing and through reminder communications to guests, an All Wheel Drive(AWD) or Four Wheel Drive(4x4/4WD) is REQUIRED in all seasons and weather conditions. While not imposing the driveway is gravel and has a pitch in the middle requiring extra traction. We access the property in A Subaru WRX, Subaru Legacy, Chevy Equinox, Ford Fusion(AWD) and Volvo XC40. Photos of the drive are available on our listing page as is a video for guests to view of a vehicle entering and exiting the property. We are available 24/7 to answer any questions around the property, its amenities and surrounding area!
