Unique Peaks oceanfront property that's directly on the ocean, rather than across the street, with a great yard and outdoor furniture. The host was very helpful. We plan to return. Caution for tall guests: the downstairs shower will be preferable.

We absolutely loved our stay here! The kitchen has everything you need and more, making it so easy to cook and enjoy meals to cook and enjoy meals together. The layout of the house is perfect; spacious, comfortable, & thoughtfully designed. Each morning we welcome guests treated to the most amazing sunrises, which made the trip even more special. On top of that, the host was fantastic. Highly recommend this place!

Sea Glass - an exceptional get away cottage on the sea. Everything was designed to make our stay effortless and enjoyable. This was our 21st summer staying on Peaks and this was by far our best rental! Thank you Sam!

Lovely days on Spar Cove

Extended family stayed together in this lovely home - well appointed kitchen and plenty of hang out space. We loved watching the cove at all times of the day and had plenty of room inside for games and meals. The yard is an outdoor room on its own! Sam was fabulous to communicate with and we will definitely want to book again.

A Gem by the Ocean

We have been coming to Peaksmfor 20+ years. Hands down, best rental property we’ve had the pleasure of using. Just lovely. The location is stunning, the set up is fantastic and the hosts are lovely.

Sea Glass House was everything we hoped for and more. From the time we booked our visit, Sam was an exceptionally helpful host. We planned a week on Peaks Island to celebrate a graduation, a birthday, an anniversary and a reunion of family members separated by an ocean in recent years. We couldn’t have chosen a more spectacular location or inviting cottage for our special vacation. We arrived after dark our first night, delighted to find the house as beautiful and comfortable as advertised. The next morning, as we made our way outside to the picnic table and chairs facing an unobstructed view of the ocean, we were awe struck by the magnificence of the sea, sky, and shore stretching out before us. Every day we found new wonders to appreciate—the schedule of the tides, working lobster boats and ships, cormorants fishing from the rocks, finding sea glass at low tide, walking all the way around the island shore and finding short cuts to the shops and ferry through shady lanes past lovely inland homes. We made our own meals and were pleased to find everything we needed in the kitchen. When I asked if there were cake pans at the house, for the birthday, our hosts ordered some sent to the house. We did leave the island to explore Portland and to take a ferry cruise, both extremely enjoyable, but it was Sea Glass House and Spar Cove, and our hosts, that made our vacation one none of us will every forget.

Boundless Charm

Amazing cottage on the sea nestled in cove on east side of island. Exceeded all expectations with spectacular ocean views from 3 sides of the house. The waves crashing on those Maine rocks is my ideal. Sam is a very responsive host and delight. Will be coming back! Quintessential Maine experience

Seaglass sits on oceanside Peaks Island with a spectacular waterfront view. The house is exceptionally well-equipped, carefully and tastefully decorated, and its living area layout with a dining/living room, separate TV room, and bonus sun porch provide multiple options for both group and solitary activities. The kitchen is galley style but spacious and populated with all the necessities essential for drinks and meal prep. The three bedrooms and two baths are well sized, comfortable, clean and functional. The outdoor table and seating options extend the living space onto the oceanfront lawn area, and provide a terrific venue for outside dining. This house is special, and provides a terrific home base for exploring Peaks Island.

My family had a wonderful stay at Sea Glass on Peak’s Island. The house was beautiful, and exactly as depicted in the listing. The setting is unbeatable with spectacular ocean views throughout the house. The host was very attentive and gave helpful instructions that made our stay go smoothly. We would be thrilled to return in the future.
