The Trout Lily Retreat was such a lovely home base for our trip to Asheville. It was beautifully decorated and we had all the space we could want. The two levels were especially appreciated as we had some March Madness fans who could stay up later watching the game while the rest of us relaxed around the cozy lower level living and dining space. The location was incredibly convenient to quickly pop in and out of town but secluded enough to feel like a true oasis. The backyard creek was such a peaceful sound to fall asleep and wake up to. Thank you so much for the great hospitality!

This place is amazing. So peaceful and clean. It is perfect. My kids enjoyed the upper-level play area. Beds are super comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked with supplies. The location is ideal but also tucked away. We loved our stay.

Kitchen is fully equipped for cooking - blender, basic spices (salt, pepper, honey, cinnamon), Keurig (pods provided). However, there is no grill which was not a problem for us. The space roomy (perfect for our family of four), quiet, and the beds are very comfortable. Check-in and check-out were incredibly easy. You can DoorDash to this location despite it being tucked away from the city.
