Thanks much for your review. You are welcome back any time!
This is a comfortable house with many great features. We enjoyed using the outdoor fire pit and hammock. The house comes stocked with dishes, pots, pans, etc. making meals easy. The Wi-Fi is strong and the TV was easy to use. Our only negatives were the musty smell in sun room, the loudness of the dehumidifier, and the mouse that appeared on our first day.

Thanks much for your review. Apologize, but yes you were there during mid-summer heat/humidity, so the dehumidifier may have been working overtime and sunroom more susceptible to mustiness than usual. I may need to look into a new dehumidifier
Extremely cozy and well stocked. Everything was perfect. We did not explore much due to rain but the cabin was perfect for a weekend in with friends. Will return!

Thanks much William! You are welcome back anytime!
We stayed at this property because of it's proximity to some of the places we wanted to visit. Just minutes from Seven Springs and Living Treasures Animal Park. Right next door to Kooser State Park. Many great eating places close by. The inside was very clean with everything you could possibly need. This cabin did have a mildew smell at the time of our visit. We know it's almost impossible to keep moisture out of these old rustic cabins. It didn't hinder our stay though. We have stayed in others like this in the past. The main bath has a brand new walk in shower. The living room furniture has been updated to comfy soft leather furniture. I would suggest they add a few folding snack tray/tables for the livingroom to put drinks and snacks on. The air hockey table was a big hit. The owner was very responsive to all our questions and concerns. Checking in and out was a breeze. Wish we had more time to visit the area longer.
Here are all the words that came to me as my family and I enjoyed Christmas at Rockcliffe Cottage: serene, scenic, cozy, picturesque, quiet, beautiful! The online pictures of this cottage do a great job in putting a spotlight on the property. And while the pics are beautiful, they don't really speak to the deep feeling of coziness that is awaiting you the moment you open the door....actually the moment you drive up to it! I am certain that you can explore more of the landscape and the natural surroundings in the spring and summer, but wintertime......is magical!!!
I can't wait to visit again!

Awesome!
We spent a weekend at this cute home and it was perfect for our getaway celebration with friends and family. Dave, the owner, was great with communication and fast with a reply. The home was very clean, cute and quaint.
We loved the view in the back with the fire pit and hanging night lights. Plus a picnic table on the covered porch was very convenient.
They also had ample starter supplies which was very much appreciated. Newer appliances also a perk.
We hope to plan another trip here again in the near future! There was great hiking, fishing and picturesque views. Be sure to make reservations at the nearby restaurant, Out of the Fire. 👍
Thanks for a super time at Rockcliffe Cottage!
