The house is a beautiful property with an interesting history. It has been thoughtfully furnished with all the amenities you would want ...without changing the character of the house. It is convienient to shops, restaurants and all that Old Town Alexandria has to offer. Trader Joe's is an easy walk to stock up on food items. I forgot my bathing suit so didn't get to try the hot tub but it was all ready to go. The upstairs bathroom has an extraordinary deep soaker tub.The sleeping configurations would work for a family too.I would definitely stay there again.

Wonderfully Victorian

The property was perfect and the host ate awesome. The house lived up to the description. The house was close to everything. We could walk to old town Alexandria and the wharf.

Great location and place! The property has so much historic charm. The hot tub with TV is such a nice touch. Owners are regularly onsite in the back carriage house (good if you need something, not so good for privacy). Overall, an excellent stay!
