Wonderful house and perfect location. Cozy and warm. The host is incredibly communicative and responsive. Gave us lots of tips for the area. Can't wait to come back.
This quaint cottage is conveniently located in Virginia’s wine/craft beer country. It serves as an ideal home base for a group of 3 who want to explore the area, including hiking at Sky Meadows State Park and dining and shopping in Middleburg. While the exterior is unassuming, the pictures and description accurately reflect this charming space.
Cozy, clean as a whistle, comfortable and easy to find. Our host let us know ahead of time that the cottage was ready and how to communicate with her. I’m definitely saving this cottage for my future visits to the area!
This was a lovely, well-appointed home perfect for my needs. The host communicated regularly and responded promptly to my questions. Check-in was easy peasy as was check-out. This cottage is at the top of my list should I be in the area again!
This is a perfect small spot for doing some local touring. It’s not fancy, but everything was very serviceable. My only suggestion would be to have the address a little more prominent because it comes up pretty quickly off route 50 such a nice area to visit and you’re just 10 minutes from Middleburg and five minutes from the Ashby if you want to have some great food. Highly recommend hunters in for lunch.
My partner and I stayed over christmas in what was the perfect cottage. If you want to believe that you're in some tiny small town america during christmas, this is the perfect place to be. It was by far the most peaceful and relaxing christmas.I've had in a long time. The stove is wonderful and makes me want to upgrade mine at my own house and the rest of the appliances are also amazing. Ten out of ten, we'll be staying again.
Overall a good value with one clarification. A washer and dryer are provided..however they are "outside"the cottage on a rear screen eclosed porch..inside an enclosed cabinet. The bathroom also had no hooks or bars to hang towels on.
Aside from these issues the overall impression is favorable for price and location.
