We get a place to stay for two nights (safely), very important when you are traveling with the family. But, the entrance of the property is the garage and that area didn’t look in good condition. (It is the garage, yes, but it is our main entrance too) poor conditions in general.
In our first showers use, the water rises up in 30 second. We spend our time there wiping out to stay ok.
I assume that the renters didn’t check that after the previous guest. Very important to keep in mind.
But, again, the most important thing that was safe and quiet for our short stay in UTAH.
Thank you
Nice location at a decent price in terms of access to shopping, dining and skiing. But there were some drawbacks. This is definitely a basement apartment with very little natural light. Entry is through a dark garage. Brightly painted inside the unit, which was helpful, but the ceilings are pretty low and walking and talking in the upstairs main floor comes down into the basement very clearly. If you are a light sleeper, it's a problem. There is no control of the heat in the unit, which is a major problem. The control is from the owner (?) upstairs, but there is no direct communication with him. The heat ran until midnight our first night after being not on when we arrived. By midnight we were lying on top of the sheets it was so hot. Opening windows helped, but it was so windy during our stay that we could not keep thme open. There is a gas fireplace, but there does not appear to be any way of turning it on. There is no "guest book" with any sort of instructions about heat, how to use the TV system, local eateries, etc. Cooking and cleaning supplies were adequate, but quite minimal - ie. There was not hot pot or tea kettle or sponges. Seating for 4, but sleeps 6. New chairs have not been properly assembled and had loose screws on all of them. There is no outdoor space, unless you move some chairs out into the driveway.
