The location was good. The posting was accurate. However there was a problem with the kitchen. There was a terrible smell, one sink was stopped up, the disposals didn’t work. Basically the kitchen was unusable. The shower faucet in the master bath wouldn’t turn on. There wear several other minor issues as well. We notified the owner so hopefully all will be fixed.
This property is tidy, has an exceptional air conditioning unit and hot water heater and the beds are comfortable. The rest of the property is tired and needs upkeep. The back yard furniture is unusable because of the dirt build up and the vegetation needs maintenance. The firepit has garbage in the rockwork and no propane tank. We found partially empty drink cans in one closet. There are stains on the carpets, and the paint and wallpaper are in need of a refresh. Multiple light switches and fixtures do not work or need bulbs replaced. Fan controllers need batteries. The garage needs swept and the storage room is a shambles. The dishwasher works but needs remounting in the cabinet. The freezer door is difficult to keep closed and there is water damage on the kitchen base boards. The host is very responsive; his maintenance man is responsive and efficient. Unfortunately, we had to have him and a plumber come out for multiple plumbing issues that existed when we checked in. All were fixed.
We were in town for our daughter's wedding and were joined by other family members. The home was ideal for our family, plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms to get ready for the big day. We didn't cook, but the kitchen was lovely and seemed well stocked. The beds were very firm, but the linens were top of the line! We had a great stay overall.
Great house for our large group. Plenty of room to spread out and relax both inside and outside. Everything in the house as advertised. Very clean. Location convenient to most all of the activities we did and places we ate. Great communication with the owner before and during the stay. We would definitely stay here again.
The size of the home was perfect for our traveling family group of 10 and for hosting my brother and family, who live in NM, for Thanksgiving dinner. A total of 17. The open space was comfortable and conducive for socializing for such a large group. The pool table was a hit and the center of activity. We ordered Thanksgiving dinner out (Cracker Barrel) and minimally supplemented utensils and items to serve dinner from my brothers home. The home was clean, modern, and comfortable. The owner,James, was very responsive to any requests/questions and a pleasure to work with.We had a great stay!
Plenty of space. Ton of sleeping space, bedrooms and bathrooms. We were visiting for UNM graduation. The location was a good distance from the university but manageable. The house is older, lower sitting toilets, older decor, heavy rugs, older pots/pans but beds were new (very firm). Bedrooms downstairs were a little musty. And no replacement kitchen trash bags. Check-in process was “last minute” with code arriving minutes before check in. I am wondering if that’s because it’s not a safe neighborhood? Usually we are given codes with ample time to prepare for timely check-in versus praying codes arrive on time.
Very beautiful home. We had a party of 12 and stayed quite comfortably and we had plenty of room. We were there for a color guard at Bernalillo High School and like to travel together. We had no problems checking in. Very enjoyable time and accommodations! We would stay there again.
