The cottage has everything we needed and was very clean. The location could not have been better, walking distance to everything in Bar Harbor. We will definitely be staying here again.
What a great rental! The Hosts provided excellent and timely communication, and the listing was 100% accurate. The location was perfect - we truly didn't have to move our car after we arrived. Quiet, plenty of room, clean and reasonably priced. Thanks so much for making our stay in Bar Harbor top notch!
This was a clean, cozy cottage with an included parking space, which is worth its weight in gold in busy, parking-challenged Bar Harbor. It is a house from 1850, and there are issues to be expected with a house of that age, like uneven floors. It was fine for us, but someone unsteady on their feet should be forewarned. The electricity is a bit wonky; a few outlets don’t work or work sporadically. Despite these drawbacks, we would stay here again without question. We could walk everywhere we wanted to go-the Shore Path, to Bar Island, the harbor, shopping and restaurants, and the Village Green to get shuttle buses into Acadia and around the island. Host is very responsive. This is a little gem!
The property is perfectly located in Bar Harbor in easy walking distance of anything you’d want to do in town. The cottage itself was clean, and the host was very communicative. Would definitely stay again!
Driftwood cottage was the perfect location for our family’s vacation to visit Bar Harbor and Acadia National park. Ideally located for walking to restaurants and shops in town as well as for quick access to the park. Would definitely stay here again when visiting Bar Harbor.
Cute little cottage right in Bar Harbor. My wife and I visited Acadia. This was the perfect place. The kind bed was very comfy. Awesome location to all the shops and restaurants in Bar Hsrbor and very close to Acadia. Would definitely stay here again!
This was our 25th wedding anniversary trip. My husband spent several summers in Bar Harbour, Blue Hill, and exploring Acadia. This was the absolute perfect spot to get to all areas and explore the island. It would be hard to return without booking the cottage again! It was perfect for us!
