"Lyons Creek Hideaway" is the PERFECT waterfront home for couples, families, or friends to gather, relax & enjoy a Lake Gaston getaway! With an amazing waterfront view from almost EVERY room in the house, enjoy the large, open & calm waters of Lyons Creek directly off main lake. There is a large private boathouse with a flat screen TV, spacious upper sun deck and lower deck dining areas & seating, cleats for parking your boat, 2 kayaks for your use, an SUP, 15' floating island, fishing rod holders (if you wish to bring your own poles), and more. The exterior of the lakefront property features a flat lot, a large fire pit w/gorgeous views of Lake Gaston, a regulation size Ping Pong Table, & Corn Hole Boards all for your use. The large deck facing the lake includes a Weber Grill, waterfront dining, and other seating.
The inside of "Lyons Creek Hideaway" includes 4 bedrooms that can comfortably sleep up to 10 people. The 2 living room areas feature gorgeous views of Lyons Creek through the gigantic wall of sliding glass doors & windows, plenty of room for the family to spread out, a large flat screen TV for streaming, Free wifi, and lots of board games for every age group! The kitchen includes indoor waterfront dining, a chef's kitchen with a split oven (like having 2 ovens), a dedicated pantry for your belongings, and every kitchen appliance and gadget imaginable to assist in making delicious meals.
Lyon's Creek Hideaway is located right off of main lake and is a short boat ride to Eaton Ferry Marina where you can rent a boat if you like or take advantage of the neighborhood boat ramp just a few lots down from our property if you prefer to bring your own boat. Our lot has plenty of space for your trailer and guest parking in the large driveway.
"Lyons Creek Hideaway" is only a 1 hour drive from the Raleigh/Wake Forest area and only 18minutes from the Virginia I-85 south side.

Beautiful home in a quiet neighborhood. The home was very clean and the owner was very communicative. The dock was our favorite part - very relaxing. Coffee in the morning looking at the calm of the lake. Will definitely be returning!

Our group of 7 adults had a relaxing Christmas at this clean and comfy house. It was even decorated with a tree and stockings! There was plenty of room to stretch out and see the beautiful lake. On the milder days, we enjoyed the breeze up on the sundeck. And we saw a sky full of stars while sitting around the firepit.The kitchen had everything we needed for meal prep and the grill worked well. Everyone slept well and the bathrooms were clean and roomy. Cheryl was prompt in answering the few questions I had. It was a great place to have a great time!

Lake Gaston getaway

Property was exactly as described, very homey & welcoming. Kitchen was well stocked so we only needed to bring our food and drink. Host was responsive with answers to questions before and during stay. Would highly recommend!

Great location, clean, comfortable

Our family including grandparents, parents, kids, and an infant greatly enjoyed our stay. Checkin was easy, and the house had all the spaces we needed. We particularly enjoyed the decks, the boathouse, and the fire pit. The house is located in a quiet neighborhood setting and we loved being able to take morning walks as well. Host was very responsive and provided a packet full of info to help make our stay comfortable. Note that there are some specific rules you’ll want to familiarize yourself with when booking.

Lakeside Luxury

We had a great time. This house is well appointed. The property is gorgeous with lots of tall pines and deck out to the docks. The lake toys were appreciated. With a jump pad, 2 kayaks, and a stand up paddle board we kept busy for hours. Plenty of deck space a nice fire pit and 2 good size living rooms. We would definitely recommend and will likely return next year

Lake Gaston Lyons Creek Hideaway is a Lake-Front Property located in a quiet & serene, beautiful & safe neighborhood just 1 hour drive door to door from the Raleigh/Wake Forest area & 18 minutes from the Virginia Border/i85. Lyons Creek Hideaway is the perfect location for a family gathering or to get together with friends ANY time of the year! The house accommodates up to 10 people with so much to do year round from boating (rent from a marina, bring your own boat, or rent ours w/included captain on weekends only), fishing (Bring your own fishing poles), swimming, sunbathing on upper sundeck or lower decks, kayaking, Stand up Paddleboard, 18' Floating Island, Table Tennis/Ping Pong, Cornhole, Firepit Gatherings, Grilling, Board Games, and so much more! We are located a few coves away from Eaton Ferry Marina (boat rentals where you can tie up using cleats at our boathouse), the Pointe Restaurant (where you can ride by boat, stick your feet in the sand, get a bite to eat, have drinks and listen to live music), and so much more!
