“Reel Livin’ at its best. This well-appointed, immaculate lake front home with large A-Frame windows (front and lakeside) will satisfy everyone's vacation needs. Large and quiet cove with deep water (7 feet at end of dock and 11-12 feet in center). With 4 bedrooms, 4 baths, and 2 living areas, there's plenty of space for everyone to relax and play. Main level has a well-equipped kitchen that opens to a spacious dining area (large table will accommodate 12 guests) and great room with TV and two comfortable sleeper sofas (Q). The master bedroom (K) with en-suite Jacuzzi bath and walk in shower, 2nd bedroom (Q) and additional full bath are also on the main level. Both bedrooms face the lake with sliding barn and glass doors for easy lake access. Lower level has a relaxing TV area, game room with an 8’ pool table and 4 captain’s chairs. In addition, the lower level offers a 2nd master bedroom (Q) with en-suite bath, a bunk room with 2 sets of double bunk beds (T) and pull down murphy bed (Q), full bath and laundry room with 2nd full sized refrigerator. As on the main level, both lower level bedrooms face the lake and have sliding glass doors. A large upper deck facing the lake is perfect for outdoor dining and entertaining. An outdoor dining table with seating for 6 and umbrella, gas fire pit with seating for 4, and 2 lounge chairs for sunning create the perfect setting for family gatherings. Let your evening entertaining continue on the lighted dock/boathouse deck and fire pit on the sandy beach area. Local attractions include Rosemont Winery and Tanglewood Shores Golf and Country Club, and Shady Shack Grill/Flip Flop Bar, all of which are just five minutes away. Need fishing tackle and bait? Want to take the kids for hand-dipped ice cream? Holly Grove Marina is a short drive or boat ride around the cove. No Pets. No Smoking. Home has Dish TV and free Wifi,. Gentle sloping lot to lake. Kayaks and paddle boat are available for use but renters assume all risk, liability, and responsibility. Property is located close to Interstate 85. A digital access code is required for entering the property.

Perfect house for our family vacation! Great house in a great spot on the lake. The house was very clean and well appointed. The shaded seating area on the dock was amazing during our very hot week! We enjoyed every minute of our stay!

Excellent vacation home

Beautiful house, clean and well maintained with a great lawn area in front and back. Lake is very accessible by dock or from the back yard. Lots of extras like kayaks, paddleboat, pool table, ping pong table, and cornhole kept us entertained all week. Communication with owner was top notch.

This is our 2nd year staying here. Great weather and great lake house. Ages from 6-88 enjoyed the accommodations. Keith always gets in touch with us to make sure that check-in went smoothly and is available as needed. We had an incredible two weeks in this home! It’s perfect for everyone—singles, families, teens, and couples. The fun never stops, with kayaking, swimming, floating, grilling, and game nights. Some even worked remotely in between! The house is beautifully laid out with stylish décor, featuring a main-floor living room, a game room, a water-view deck, and a patio with rocking chairs. The spacious dock, beach area, and paddle boat are fantastic for making summer memories. The owner is incredibly responsive, and the friendly neighbors add to the charm. This place is more than just a rental; it’s the perfect summer escape!

Wonderful Getaway.

This was the first time renting this VRBO and it was great. Located on a cove just off the main lake was great and there was room to tie up our two boats. Also, plenty of water for swimming off the boathouse. The house was roomy, nicely decorated, and the kitchen was hands down the best equipped of any place I have rented. Plenty of dishware, silverware, and a wide assortment of appliances. Also, the plethora of board games and quality pool table were a pleasant surprise. Definitely on the list to rent again.

Great Lake House

This is a wonderful place to stay. Our group ages ranged from 3-87 years old and everyone had plenty of space. Great location in a quiet cove off main lake. Owner Keith was quick to respond to any questions and even got in touch with us to make sure check-in had gone smoothly. Everyone enjoyed the week and are ready to come back again next year. House was well furnished too-can’t say enough positive things about this house. Thanks for sharing your beautiful house with us

Beautiful home located on quiet cove

Great property with room for everyone. Unfortunately rain kept us indoors most of our week but five adults, a teen, and two children had plenty of room to spread out. The house could easily accommodate many more. When the weather allowed we spent a lot of time on the dock fishing, swimming and kayaking. The cove is very quiet with minimal boat/jet ski traffic. The kayaks provided are functional but have seen better days - missing seats, leaking hulls, broken clips, etc. The kitchen is well stocked with pots, pans, baking sheets, dishes, cups, and silverware. A second refrigerator on the lower level is great for beverages or when refrigerator in kitchen becomes crowded. Overall we were very happy with our stay, the owner and his communication. Would recommend the property.

Wonderful house in a great location

Everything about this house exceeded our expectations. It was extremely clean. We kept saying to each other that it felt great to sit on the furniture because it just felt so clean. I really had that feeling of wondering how they managed to keep a vacation rental property so nice, but when the house is so nice you find yourself being even more careful and aware than usual to take care of everything and follow property rules. The kitchen was well appointed and the beds were seriously comfortable. I never sleep well on vacation, but the beds were comfortable. The kids beds and bedding on the bunk beds felt comfortable like home. My kids loved it. We had rain one day and enjoyed the board games, the pool table, and the ping pong table. My kids played corn hole. The location on the lake is great as it is on a no wake cove, so the kids were free to swim. We had a great week.

Top notch rental!

Our family and friends recently stayed at the property for a long weekend to celebrate Father's Day. The location could not have been better! Our host Keith has paid special attention to ensure this house has maximum comfort and amenities. The beds/pillows, sofas/chairs, dining table, etc. were super comfortable and fit our group size well. The house was immaculate with beautiful flooring, walk-in showers and fully stocked kitchen. We made use of many of the bonus appliances including coffee maker, sandwich press and slow cooker - wonderful attention to detail for those who want to cook. Also to note they had coffee (Folgers), sugar packs and a spice rack. There were more than enough activities for everyone to enjoy including billards, cornhole, kayaks, firepit, and board games not to mention many spots to take refuge including the upper deck, rocking chairs on the bottom porch and the wonderful shaded dock. The access to the lake was ideal with a walk-in section which you could launch the kayaks from and deep enough water for swimming on the end of the dock. We did bring our jet ski and there were sufficient tie-up points. Quick note that Holly Grove Marina (less than 5 min drive) is right around the corner for easy boat/jet ski ramp access for a small $5 fee, we found this to be ideal for location to save on gas (Poplar Creek public drop-in was about 15-20 mins water distance). The property was well stocked, but we had a few items we were glad we brought along (should not be provided by host): beach towels, bug spray, blow-up floats, outside speaker, kindling/firewood/lighter/s'mores sticks for firepit, condiments (mayo, ketchup, mustard), napkins. One other quick note, the house location was secluded which means our AT&T cell phones were out of service for location (delayed texting, no calls). The host provided WiFi and there was an IP phone available at the house. This setup was sufficient for our needs and helped encourage everyone to stay off devices. Sincere thank you to Keith for hosting us and we hope to book again next year!

Great to be back!

This was our second time staying in this home, and we enjoyed it just as much this time as last. We rented a boat for the week and enjoyed the water. We swam off the end of the dock. My kids caught fish. The kitchen is well appointed, and we did plenty of cooking. We took daily walks on the quiet roads in the vicinity. Any minor question we had was quickly taken care of by Keith. One in our party has mobility issues, and this house works very well for that purpose with a gently sloping yard going down to the dock and multiple bedrooms on the main floor. I am sure we will be back.

Great Lake House!

This lake house was ideal for our family vacation. The home was spacious, very clean, with a well equipped kitchen, and very comfortable beds. A highlight of the house is the great dock with endless opportunity for fun in the water. The beautiful quiet cove was great for swimming, paddle boarding and kayaking. The close proximity to main lake was perfect for boating and tubing. Our whole family agreed this Lake Gaston house was ideal!

Wonderful House

What a great place. House has everything you need. Plenty of room for everyone to spread out and relax. The dock is great for swimming and fishing. Being on an inlet keeps it calm and quiet. The owner is quick to respond to any questions you may have.

Favorite Lake House for Bro-Treat

We are four men who are in our 50-60’s range and lifelong friends. We love the serenity of this lake plus the immaculate condition of this home. We enjoy to fish, kayak, play pool, and hang out together, so this is our perfect place for our annual bro-treat. The house is airy and bright with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The owner, Keith, is awesome and easy to work with concerning the home and your needs. We will be back next year for our 4th bro-treat!

We have fully stocked the kitchen with casual and more formal place settings, multiple appliances, pots and pans, wine glasses, champagne glasses, coffee cups, and casual drinking cups. Refrigerator/freezer combination on both levels. Very comfortable high end beds and bed linens, towels, and seating. Two sleeper sofas on the upper level and a leather sectional sofa on the lower level with an 8 feet pool table. Ping pong table and corn hole boards, 4 kayaks with paddles and life jackets, paddle board.
