Palmetto Dunes VRBO

Excellent location with all of the amenities. Easy walk to the beach and pools. Golf course just around the corner. Would highly recommend renting here.

Great condo in a perfect location to bike/walk to General Store and beach!Beds are comfy (and I’m picky). Unit is well stocked with kitchen needs and games. Condo complex has a pool which is a huge plus on super hot days.Only negatives - listing claims second room has a queen. It actually has a twin and a double - this turned out a huge PLUS for us as we have two kids, but the listing really should properly reflect the accommodations.I reached out to property management asking about the bed situation before our stay as the pictures/write up didn’t match and I wanted to know what I was getting into for my kids sleeping situation, and they never wrote me back.Turned out to be ok for us - but heads up for anyone else.Bed type aside (which is no fault of condo owners), the condo is great and the perfect spot for a fun beach getaway!

Spring break

This property was wonderful! It was clean, organized, spacious, and perfect for a stay. We would come back to this unit without hesitation. It was a very short bike ride or walk to the general store and a maybe 5 minute max bike ride to the beach. We also enjoyed the bike ride to Shelter Cove, which was the opposite direction of the beach but also close to the unit. Great location for a Palmetto Dunes unit.

Hilton Head VRBO

The condo was fine. One of the bedrooms had two single beds instead of the queen size advertised. Just big enough for a child, not an adult. The Koernig coffee maker had been broken and the parts taped together. We called maintenance, so as not to get blamed for it and they remedied the problem quickly. On a couple of occasions there was no parking spots available in our section. Very inconvenient. The kitchen had the bare minimum. Fortunately we decided not to cook too much.

The unit was nice enough and reasonably priced. Typically we book something closer to the beach but opted for a less expensive option for this trip.We did feel that the supplies provided by the rental company was extremely limited. We stayed for 5 nights and only had one garbage bag and one laundry detergent packet. We were also instructed to start the towels before departing so really there was no laundry detergent provided for the guest to use to wash clothes. The supply list was communicated in advance but felt very skimpy compared to our past stays anywhere.Overall, our stay was fine and worth the price paid.
