Updates have recently been completed in this nostalgic Ranch style home! The homeowner; a professional Interior Designer, used her talents to create a warm and inviting space using splashes of whimsical & nautical complimented by an extensive use of organic and natural materials. Many re-purposed pieces offer a classic, updated touch.
Each room has been creatively furnished providing function & comfort. The lovely living room offers relaxed seating for eight . There is formal dining for six with private seating for two in the kitchen. Newly renovated, the kitchen offers beautiful granite counters with bright white cabinetry. There is plenty of cookware to provide meals for 8 and a dishwasher to make for quick cleanup.
Vanities in the main bath & master bath are classy and functional and the owners have provided an ample supply of bathing towels. Three fresh bedrooms offer a set of twins, one Queen bed and one full bed. All decorated to soothe and relax.
The finished walk out basement makes a perfect in-law suite! It provides extra guests with a full bathroom and kitchenette. The use of natural materials continues, offering rattan seating as well as a full size futon for a comfortable nights sleep. The room also functions as a game room with an air hockey table, board games and TV. The laundry is conveniently located in the 2 car garage which leads to the back driveway that has an outdoor deck as well as a patio with fire pit and seating.

Walk to the days activities from the beach to dining, shopping to sightseeing. Walk Purgatory Chasm or stroll the mansions. Each season's festivities are full of surprises. Music festivals & Tall Ships, Octoberfest & International festivals, shows & celebrities too! Take the ferry to Block Island for a leisurely day on the coast or Parasail for a more intimate view! This is a clean, comfortable, well maintained property in Middletown RI. The hosts made check-in a breeze, and the location was fantastic for our trip. We easily walked to the beach and to restaurants from this house. The parking at the house is spacious. This is a delightful home for a family trip in a lovely location!

This is a very nice house in a very convenient locationI’ve stayed here with my three adult children, everybody has their own space, the house is clean, it’s walking distance to the beach however we did drive because we bring many things with us. Also, Todd has plenty of chairs, umbrellas, beach toys, etc. whatever you need if you don’t feel like bringing your own beach gear.

We enjoyed our stay. The house was perfect. We took full advantage of being next to Easton beach.The coffee maker broke on our 2nd day and the owner overnighted a new one. It saved our one coffee drinkers trip.

The perfect hideaway

Relaxing Middletown

Easy access to the beach and to Newport. Great place for us and 5 of our kids. Enjoyed the games and air hockey table. Plenty of outdoor sitting areas to enjoy the cool RI breezes. Host was very communicative before or throughout our trip. Definitely recommend!

Our On Island get away

This property was lovely and worked well for us. Ideally situated within a short walk to the beach and downtown Middletown, we could all easily manage our own agenda. I loved the 2 living areas to give us some extra space with the kids and we hung in the private and relaxing backyard often. Beautifully decorated and it had everything we needed. Todd and Monica were easy to work with and we really enjoyed our stay here!

We had a great experience from start to finish! The owner responded to our request that we could not find a frying pan by leaving one on the front step the next day! We loved the fire pit for night time s’mores and hope to return again if in the area.

Middletown Stay

Great location for both walking to main drag and beach, and ease of getting into Newport. Upstairs bedrooms and bathrooms were very comfortable. Unfortunately the basement was unusable as it was too musty. Kitchen needed pot holders and DW detergent.

Thanks for staying with us. We have hosted families for over a decade and have never received 3 stars, as we make every effort to ensure our guests are happy. As we did when we purchased the special pans and utensils you requested before you arrived, allowed you to park a car in the driveway 5 hours before checkin and prepared the house so you could check in early. We communicated numerous times during your stay when you asked for extra keys and could not find the bath towels(in the bathroom closet), so it’s very surprising that you never mentioned your dissatisfaction with the lower level. Had you contacted me I would have come right over to address any issues (as I did with the extra keys). We have a wall mini split A/C and dehumidifier and a separate floor dehumidifier by the bathroom which are more than adequate to keep the space dry without any odors as noted by reviews from previous and subsequent guests. And we also have an Ionic Hepa air purifier in that space for guests with any allergies. We make every effort to treat our guests the way we like to be treated when we are on vacation and it’s surprising you didn’t mention this during our multiple calls and messages.

Lovely home!

We had so much fun at this lovely property. All the details were covered perfectly and the house had everything we needed to make it an enjoyable stay. A dishwasher! Ice maker and clothes washing machines. Everything you need for the beach including towels. Even a solo stove for bonfires at night!

This property was amazing. The owners were wonderful to communicate with. It is extremely clean, peaceful and makes you feel right at home like it’s your own place very relaxing beautiful backyard very spacious great place for family together and enjoy each other wonderfully nautically decorated. No stone unturned everything you need is right there Also very much appreciated The fragrance free betting and towels and blankets! I cannot say enough wonderful things about the property and the owners if I could give 10 stars on this I would. Would absolutely stay again. We had family visit while we were there and it felt like I was entertaining in my own home, I highly recommend this property. Great walking distance to the beach very quaint nice neighborhood and easy access to walking to different restaurants and coffee shops A+ plus.

Great stay!

Todd was great with communications and taking care of a minor issue immediately. I told him that the beds could be a little more comfortable and he said they would do that for next season. Lots of towels beach equipment and every thing you can imagine you might need.

Enjoyable stay

We stayed in the house for a week and the house was great for our family (includes 3 girls 11 to 15). The kitchen and bathrooms are new, and we had beds for everyone. Star of the house is the back yard with a deck that had a seating area and new grill where we ate every night. We also used the patio with firepit for smores on more than one occasion. Washer/Dryer were big and able to handle our towels. There were plenty of chairs and an umbrella, a couple of boogie boards and a wagon for the beach. Bring an extra umbrella if you usually use more than one. Bonus was a hammock that was well used. There are cleaning supplies everywhere and we had no issues with the cleanliness of the house or feeling that we were exposed to COVID. In the stores and town it seemed everyone was masked and social distancing. We ate in restaurants a few times, went tot he auto museum, and sat on the beach and at no times felt at risk. It is obvious the house is well cared for, updated, and has everything a family needs. The house is centrally located and has easy access to beaches, stores, restaurants and Newport. It sits between 1st and 2nd beach. 1st beach has parking for visitors but 2nd does not. I was able to drop the family at 2nd beach, drive home then jog the 1.5 mile to the beach. It is shaded most of the way and I saw a number of other folks doing the same. The cliff walk starts at 1st beach so we combined a day at the beach with the walk. There is a Cumberland Farms down the street, Stop n Shop / Shaws (i recommend the latter as it is much bigger) for food shopping and liquor stores within an easy drive. It was easy to communicate with the owners and they answered any questions we had quickly.

Wonderful vacation in a wonderful house

I have always been hesitant to rent a house from, but due to covid we needed to find a vaction that felt safe. The house was perfect for our family needs and the location was awesome. We loved how we could walk to the beach, the cliff walk and the town of Newport. Moncia and Todd were always available for any questions that we had and were happy help us with suggestions for restaurants. Hoping we can go back next summer!

Family home close to the beach!

My family and I had a great week here! The house was clean and we felt very comfortable. We could easily walk or drive to the beach and spent many evenings roasting marshmallows by the fire. Thank you! We will be back!

Perfect vacation

This home is nicely decorated, well cared for and has everything you could possibly need for a perfect stay. The location is convenient to beaches, restaurants, mansions and downtown Newport and is in quiet neighborhood. The owners are extremely responsive and checked in throughout our stay. They even left a gift basket for us! We can’t wait to return next summer.
