This is the perfect home for a family vacation in Orlando, Florida! GARAGE IS OFF-LIMITS

Rivendell is ideally located in the Manor at West Haven, only a few minutes away from all the major Orlando attractions. The Champions Gate golf course (home of the David Ledbetter Academy) is two minutes away, plus Reunion and Providence world class golf courses are five minutes from the home. Grill provided at home. Guest is responsible for cleaning and propane tank.

Enjoy all that Orlando has to offer such as the theme parks: Walt Disney World, Universal Studios, Sea World, Legoland, Discovery Cove, Aquatica and other attraction such as I-Drive, City Walk & NO CARPETS!!!! Disney Springs; Shopping malls such as The Mall at Millenia, The Florida Mall and The Outlet Mall. Sports events include Orlando City soccer and Orlando Magic basketball.

Just over an hour drive away you will find some of Florida’s favorite beaches such as Cocoa Beach, Clearwater Beach, St. Pete Beach, New Smyrna Beach & Daytona Beach.

Did not use hot tub. There is a fee to warm it.Also a fee to use the grill. The grill was a cheap grill. Should be freeTVs were too smallOther than that, it was a great visit.

The home was beautiful. So much space, kitchen was stocked with the essentials. Bed was very comfortable. Fairly close to Disney attractions, 30-45 minutes depending on traffic! Only issue we had was the pool/spa heat did not work for our stay. Florida Spirit Homes was quick to send someone out multiple times but the heater wouldn’t cooperate so never got to use that. They were quick to offer a refund for that pool heat fee since it didn’t function throughout our week.

Fantastic Family Spring Break

Property and ammenities were great. Any issues were quickly resolved. Location and access to groceries, dining and entertainment was very convenient. We had a great time and would love to go back soon!

Very Enjoyable Stay

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have stayed in a few vacation home rentals over the years. This was the best experience by far.The only things I would change, being seniors with a smallish child, would be handrails in the toilet area of each bathroom as the toilets sit low and a simple handlebar would have helped so much. Same with the pool steps, a metal rail would be so helpful. The hot tub has a PVC type rail but it Is a big step down and was very hard for us to navigate. Other than that, actual curtains on the windows instead of blinds because we had those in our home long ago and they never wear well. Overall, great home.

The house was amazing and the pool and spa was great the pool light didn’t work but the spa light did and the beds in every room we tried to sleep on and we’re so so bad and older so we ended sleeping on the couch not next to each other which was disappointing but the whole house besides the beds was great and new but the beds were back breaking and just not good. If they updated those the place would be a come back again for sure. Thanks

Few changes

Loved the house, the neighborhood and in general we had a great time. We called to get the pool heated up the pool and management acted really fast. I just wanted to point out a few things to make the property even greater. It would be a great idea to change the main tv, is old and the image is not good anymore. My charger fell behind the night stand table when I picked it up I saw a few things back there from previous renters, clothing tags, pieces of papers. When we checked in ( around 4:30pm) the dryer was still going with the towels and sheets I guess from previous visitors. Pool was cleaned. If you can, get rid of the carpet on the future for more hygiene. I know is hard to have a perfect house specially between renters but this one do not need much to be. Thanks again for the great stay!! We will recommend it and come back.

Nice House with Bad Property management

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house is nice and well equipped, but there was no way to look the front door, and the pool heater stop working after the first the of my stay. The property management was way to slow to work on my issues, they called me after I checked out.

Wonderful Home

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We absolutely enjoyed this beautiful home and highly recommend it. Spacious and kitchen equipped better than any home we have stayed in. Pool and jacuzzi were great. Jacuzzi didn’t heat one eve and the company came the next day to “reset” the power. Wonderful location and was very clean upon arrival. We already are looking to booking it next year. The only suggestion we have is to please have recycling available. Wish that was requirement for all Spirit homes.

Long Needed Vacation

I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I have rented vacation homes through Florida Spirit for over 10 years. The company for the most part is wonderful. There are some things throughout these years that seem to be a regular occurrence. The pools and hot tubs are not checked before arrival. Almost every time we arrived at our house the pool heat was not working. I have stayed in at least 6 different properties with Florida Spirit. It has been the same for each one. Some we have rented multiple times.This particular property was the worst we have ever stayed in. The pool not only didn't have heat but was completely green. It took several phone calls to get someone to come out. Two days later when they finally showed up they treated the pool but it still took another 4 days before it was clear enough to see the bottom. The heat in the pool barely worked. The pool water was so low the overflow from the hot tub into the pool did not happen. Inside the house there was sticky stuff on the dressers, table, counters and carpets. Some of the dishes were dirty and many of the silverware had dried food on them. You could not control the ac unit. They have it preset and locked so it can't be changed. This house was an overall huge disappointment. We will not only never rent this house again we are at a point of considering going with another vacation rental company due to the consistent none prechecking of the homes before arrival.

The house was nice, spacious and clean. The rental company was a bit odd. They started prompting me to execute a rental agreement with terms that were not cosistant with what payments had been made. I ended up just ignoring it until the rental was paid for and that seemed to be ok, but they never resonded to my emails about this. A few days in someone from the rental company knocked on the door "because the sliding door to the pool was not locked" - this was during the day when we were using the pool. Made zero sense - we were supposed to lock ourselves out of the house while we were using the pool?? Very odd!

Reviewer Comments: First off let me say that I have stayed in Florida spirit homes for years and they always seem to be very nice and clean on the inside with that being said I do not appreciate the fact that I was already in Florida and was checking out of the condo I was staying in on the beach and had no place else to go so I contacted the office about getting a early check in to be told that there would be a early check in fee of 75 plus tax so when I asked could this be waved because I have been customer several times I was told a nonsense story that they would have to get someone out there earlier to clean pictures etc nonsense for sure I have been in one of these homes getting ready for final check out at 930 in the morning and there are people setting out in a car waiting for me to leave so they could clean it after being shook down to pay the 75 plus tax I get to the home to find that I am going to be treated like a child and not allowed to turn the air down past 75 degrees even though it is 95 degrees out wow and at night we were a warm simply put if you are afraid of someone freezing up air charge that person for doing so but don’t treat the rest of us like children so therefore when I am in town again I will be looking for a different company to stay with house and I will for sure be asking if I am allowed to adjust the air Like a adult rather than being shook down for 75 plus tax for a total of 84 dollars and a hot house where I am locked out like a child from adjusting the air thanks.

Thank you for being a returning guest to Florida Spirit, Jason. Since I was the one who took your call on 06/14/19 in regards to an early check-in, I can elaborate on the details mentioned in the phone call. We informed you we were short staffed on Sunday and in order to accommodate your request for an early check-in we would have to charge you our standard fee mentioned in our rental agreement and policy. During the phone call, I did however speak to our Operations Staff to see if we could do this for you at no additional charge considering you are a returning guest but it was just not feasible on our end due to the circumstances. We did not state it was because of cleaning pictures. As far as the air conditioning unit, we kindly ask guests not to lower the thermostat below 72 degrees because this can tend to malfunction the air conditioning units due to our high climate. It is important to us that all of our guests are comfortable during their stay which is why we implemented this policy. We would hate for our A/C units to go down in this Florida heat during a guest stay. We regret to hear you will not be returning back to us because of these two items despite our efforts but we truly wish you the best in your future vacation rentals with other management companies.
