This was a perfect getaway for a week with my husband. Very close to all of the restaurants and shops. Short drive to the boardwalk too. We were literally right across the street from the beach. The balcony was our favorite, the view was perfect and we spent every night sitting out there soaking it all in.

I am actually excited to write a review for this Vrbo host. They have a beautiful place with a balcony view of the bay that is gorgeous,the pictures of the 2 bed/2 bath condo are exactly as shown, the host is very responsive if you need anything (I needed an updated WiFi password) the building is secure and in a great location for everything OC has to offer. I highly recommend this host for your next vacation , you won’t be disappointed.

Extremely Close to Convention Center!

We were in town for a week for a dance competition and being the closest we could be to the venue, really helped! Being on the bay side it was great that we didn’t have to cross any busy main roads to get to the convention center. I was able to go back and forth quickly between breaks. The condo was clean, spacious and well decorated. We would definitely recommend this condo!

We stayed here for a cheer comp at the convention center. We were within a 5 min walk to the convention doors. Perfect size for a family of 4 with beautiful views of the bay! Will definitely look to stay here again for our next trip to OC!

Check-in process was extremely easy and hosts were very responsive to inquiries pre-stay. Kitchen was well equipped with all essentials for preparing meals. Master bathroom light was strobing and could not be used. Kitchen overhead light was only partially working. The view is great! It allows for people-watching at the adjacent hotel, views of the bay AND the ocean! Great sunsets!!!Leg on one balcony chair was rusted off making it a bit difficult to use but we improvised. Could’ve been cleaner upon arrival but we cleaned and it didn’t affect our experience.Overall, we would stay again and recommend.Many thanks to ours hosts!!!

The Makai is located in Mid Town O.C. in the low rise district. The beach is not crowded and Jolly Rodgers Amusement Park is 2 minutes by drive for the kids. The convention center is directly beside the Makai literally walk across 42nd your there. The Makai is 1 block from beach ,shopping,dinning and nightlife.Our balcony provides a great view of Secrets fire works on Memorial Day, 4th of July and Labor day. Lets not forget the 15 championship Golf Courses located 5-10 mile from the Makai.

What makes this property unique

This unit has been freshly painted tile flooring through out and is considered one of the top 4 most desirable units in the Makai.This unit is extra luxurious you won't be disappointed. The unit is located on the north side of the building staying extra cool on those hot summer days. There is a brand new hotel located next door with a direct view of the pool directly under balcony absolutely gorgeous ! The newly renovated 45th shopping center is a short walk offering new stores and dinning. Secrets is also a short walk offering the best entertainment ,food and nightlife on the EAST COAST!
