Great place to stay with dogs and family. It is the first house off the main road so be careful with small children and dogs if they are a flight risk!

We enjoyed our recent stay, and the rental was very clean and well maintained. A few small improvements would make the experience even better, such as providing throw blankets for the family room and adding a few extra pots and pans in the kitchen. It also would have been helpful if the listing had mentioned the property’s proximity to a high-traffic road, as this is something guests may want to know when booking. Overall, we appreciated the stay and hope this feedback is helpful for future guests.

Ski Getaway

We had a wonderful time at this property! It was the perfect size and layout for our families, and in a prime location; we were just a quick and easy drive to ski slopes. The house was clean and comfortable, and had a great fireplace to gather around inside, while the snow fell outside!

This was our second time staying at this property due to JMU related events. It’s a lovely space that is comfortable and clean. It has lots of room for the whole family. Also, another important note is that communication with the property is top tier. Every question was responded to quickly and throughly.

Nice rental house in the resort

This was a nice place for the five of us to stay; beds were comfortable, amenities were fine, and the owners were responsive to our inquiries. The house itself is on one of the main roads of the resort with a fair amount of traffic, so the road noise put a bit of a damper on the otherwise excellent screened in porch. Otherwise it is a great option to be close to Shenandoah.

Thank you so much for your review! We're glad to hear that the home was a comfortable fit for your group and that you found the amenities and communication to be positive throughout your stay. We appreciate you pointing out the road noise near the screened-in porch—it’s helpful feedback and something we’ll take into consideration moving forward. We're also happy to hear that the location worked well for your visit to Shenandoah. Thanks again for staying with us, and we’d love to welcome you back in the future!

Awesome house with plenty of space!

This house was great! Very close to the entrance to Massanutten, making coming and going convenient. Plenty of room to spread out or come together. We even saw quite a few deer roaming behind the house. We needed a place to stay for an event happening at JMU, and this house met those needs perfectly.

Beautiful and relaxing

This was a really nice property. We had a great vacation. I gave the property 4 stars on cleanliness only because our socks got dirty when we walked across the living room and kitchen floors. Otherwise everything was excellent.

Girls Weekend

Great location close to all Massanutten has to offer. 7 of us for a girls weekend! Home is exactly as described, the kitchen's had everything we needed to cook n prep for the extended weekend. Beds and pillows were comfy, but no heavy blankets on any of the beds so we had to go into town to buy our own!!

JMU Family Weekend

Property is in the quiet area of the Four Seasons Resort space. Unfortunately, we were unable to check in on the original date and lost one day of our 3-day stay (weren’t able to be credited for the day although communicated more than a week in advance) due to the rain storms. The home is an old build but the interior is modern enough space. Nice getaway to spend time with family especially if you’re lookin to make a drive to the colleges—only a 25 min drive. .

Thank you for your review! We’re glad to hear you enjoyed the peaceful location and found the home to be a nice getaway for spending time with family. It's great that the proximity to the colleges made your stay more convenient as well. We’re truly sorry about the check-in issue and that we were unable to accommodate a credit for the lost day. We understand how disappointing that must have been. Your feedback on the home’s balance between its older structure and modern interior is appreciated, and we hope that, despite the setback, you were still able to enjoy your time with family. Thank you again for your input, and we hope to have the chance to welcome you back for a smoother experience next time!
