Great spot! Very comfortable and relaxing with lots of activities. The view from the living room was beautiful to watch the water. Walking along the beach was ducu such a highlight. The host was very communicative.
This home was LOVELY! It had everything we needed, fully stocked kitchen with seasoning and a lot of cooking equipment! Host was very responsive and understanding with all questions and requests we had even allowing us to host other family in the area for dinner! Property was very clean with nice new fixtures. Not to mention the awesome yard with plenty of outdoor seating space. The view is stunning as well. Overall this is an incredible property and we will be staying here in the future and recommend to anyone looking to stay in the area!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house was very clean and comfortable. The backyard was big and accesible to play sports. The fire pit was perfect for roasting marshmallows.
Our family of 6 (with 4 children ages 3-11) had a wonderful stay. The place is as described and as pictured. It was a perfect place to relax, beach comb, and play yard games. Kitchen was well-stocked with the basics with all the amenities our family needed. My kids are already planning to come back! Also, our host Shikha was so thoughtful - checked in with us a couple times to make sure we had everything we needed. Thank you for a great stay!
Great stay, little lacking on kitchen supplies. Girls weekend plenty of room for 5.Would rate the cleanliness a 7 out of 10 Host was in easy contact Easy check in
The house was exactly as pictured. Check-in was easy, everything was provided just as listed, it was easy to find and the view was stunning. Would definitely stay again. Highly recommended.
What an amazing spot in the world! My husband, myself and our 3 sons were able to stay the week of Thanksgiving and it was perfect. Amazing views, very comfortable rooms and the kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed for a Thanksgiving meal away from home! The location is great! We explored the peninsula and ferried into Seattle for a day trip. Thank you so much for letting us make memories in your home!
This property was lovely. It is beautifully renovated. The view of the Puget Sound was a delight to watch the sunset, from the deck while the propane fire kept us warm.
We had a lovely time. The house was very spacious, clean, and comfortable. We especially loved the beautiful views. Unfortunately it rained the whole time so we were not able to spend much time in the backyard. Thank you!
We loved the property! It was exactly as pictured and described, with plenty of room for the 4 of us to all have our own space yet be together and enjoy all the amenities. The area was gorgeous, we felt safe, and it was easily accessible to the ferries to explore the entire state. The communication from the owners was clear and responsive.
Found this house after needing to leave another property due to maintenance issues. The property was perfect for our needs and the owners were very accomodating and quick to respond to questions. Would highly recommend!
We needed this! A beautiful escape to the water, a fantastic location, and opportunities for real relaxation - we loved our time.
Cooking together, whether indoors or out was such a treat! All the amenities were well appointed and well thought out. Thanks!!!
Pros:The location and views from the living room, dining room and garden were great. Decently stocked kitchen. Good water pressure in showers. Needs work:We had some problems with the AC making loud noises and leaking pools of water onto the floor most nights, waking us up. The kitchen sink garbage disposal also clogged up our last night so we had to check out early the next day to grab breakfast on the go. The property manager said they would send someone to look at the AC and have their cleaner deal with the sink garbage disposal after we left. Other things to note:The third βbedroomβ is more like a curtained sleeping alcove in part of the downstairs bedroom/game room which was unexpected as it is listed as a third bedroom. Stairs down to third βbedroomβ/game roomare very shallow and steep-I would caution if you are planning to have an older adult or young children go or sleep down there. The beach below the yard is not for lounging-it is rocky and filled with ocean debris. After descending the steep stairs that were being overgrown with brambles, the beach was good for a short exploration at best.
In the 3 years we have been taking our annual girls trip, this home was far and away the best yet. Your property is absolutely beautiful and the home is so comfortable. The kitchen was a dream and being able to look out the picture windows at the water was wonderful. The beds were super comfy and the house was well stocked with every detail thought of. The proximity to the grocery store was ideal. It was only a little over an hour to get thereβ¦so close yet it really felt like we were far away! We are so happy to have found your beautiful home and look forward to coming back.
Our weekend stay at this house was fantastic! We give this house a 10 out of 10!
We were a group of 7 and the house fit us perfectly.
The listing description was accurate. The house was very clean, beautifully appointed, with a comfortable and stylish interior. The furnishings were of high quality, and the decor created a warm and inviting atmosphere. Each bedroom had its own modern unique charm, especially the shed bedroom, and we all agreed the beds were comfortable. We truly appreciated things like full-size shampoo and conditioner in each bathroom, lots of comfy blankets to curl up in, modern matching dishes, flatware and glassware, all different sized pots and pans for cooking, and stylish modern appliances. There was ample parking for 3 to 4 vehicles. The backyard is large, has a very nice outdoor dining area, and access down to the sound.
The view of the water/sound is wonderful from the kitchen and living area windows, they face to the east, and the view of the sunrise in the morning is stunning.
The owners of the home were very attentive to ours needs. They made sure our stay was as comfortable as possible. When I mentioned we would be using the sofa bed downstairs they decided to buy a mattress topper just for the sofa bed and it was delivered the day we arrived. It was a big hit and comfortable.
We highly recommended this house. We would stay here again.
Excellent stat, honestly exceeded expectations. Itβs a wonderful and comfortable house, beautiful views and convenient to Port Gamble, Olympic National Park, and Seattle. The Kingston ferry to downtown is just ten minutes away. Definitely need a rental car, but we had one and used the house as a home base to really explore and have adventures. The hot tub and washer and dryer were put to use a lot after all the outdoor adventures! My family of five (three teenagers) had a wonderful stay and I would highly recommend it.
