We absolutely loved our stay at this pet friendly beautiful home. This is our second time staying and we will be back. Nestled on a small road the area is quiet but the home is convenient to everything. We appreciated the little things thought of by the host from board games to a water cooler in the kitchen. Beds are very comfortable and the house is wonderful for larger parties. Just added touch We loved reading the history of the home. Truly a rare find.
This was a wonderful place to stay. Plenty of room. Great spaces to visit with family & friends. So many nice little touches from the music playing when we came in to coffee and cookies & everything we needed for our stay. Amazing yard too.
Beautiful historic home decorated to the nines with lovely antiques and interesting one of a kind pictures and old novelties to enjoy. Wonderful area with amazing food. Very special hosts who were extremely concerned about it comfort. Thoroughly enjoyed our time there.
This unique property was a charming place to stay in Virginia. We truly loved everything from the warm cookies upon our arrival to the pleasant music playing in the parlor. Every bit of decor helped to tell the story of this historic home. We will be sure to return.
This property is absolutely amazing. It has a ton of old fashioned character with many modern updates. We gather here to attend my daughter’s wedding in Delaplane. It was so nice to be able to be close to help out with all of the events. There are a few shorter ceilings but my 6’3” brother learned quickly where to duck. We have zero complaints for this property. It is well taken care of properly with great outdoor spaces to spend outside and all the amenities you could ever need from linens and towels to cookies and shampoo. There were a ton of games for rainy days and outdoor games when the weather is nice. Plenty of space to sneak off and hide for some quiet time and yet there was plenty of space to spend time all together. We live fairly local but I would recommend this property over and over to anyone.
A beautiful cozy home set in a nice town. The original construction was in the 1790’s (President George Washington was still alive)! The dining at the Hunter’s Head Inn in nearby Upperville was superb!
We had a wonderful weekend in Paris, VA and enjoyed the history of this beautiful old home. the hostess made sure we had everything we needed to accommodate having a toddler in our group. I would definitely stay here again!
I love the charm of such an old home!! And the cookies and candies welcoming! The living room fireplace was put to use while we sat around for dinner and watching movies. Paris is lovely village in midst of all the stuff you want to do… vineyards, state park, Upperville Hunters Head and Middleburg down street.
Our experience in Paris was so wonderful! We were there for a family wedding with a group that included three young kids. The house was beautiful and interesting, and well outfitted with fun things for the kids to do (and great safety gates on the stairs!) The hosts were incredibly responsive and helpful. Everything was comfortable. We had a great stay!

We’re so glad you enjoyed your stay and that the Littles had a good time, as well. Please come again when it’s not so rainy! And thank you for leaving the house in excellent condition!
This was such a cute historic property with lots of unique, creative touches. The hosts have decorated it lovingly and it’s great for families: books, games, and gates at the top and bottom of stairs for safety. Communication with the hosts was excellent and we would definitely stay here again!
(Note, as a historic home, there are a number of low ceilings but there are signs posted to remind you)
We had a great time! The home I has the perfect mix of the old and the new. The decor adds to the feeling of the time period in which the house was constructed. The owners are wondert and communicate quickly at any hour. We had an issue that needed to be addressed immediately at 11:00 pm one night, Michelle messaged back asap and her husband called within a few minutes with instructions about to resolve to problem. We arrived earlier and we were allowed to check in early. The beds are comfortable making for a good nights sleep. My family enjoyed the yard games, while my grandsons enjoyed the toys that are inside the house. We all very much enjoyed our stay.
