It was a shellastic birthday bash for long time college friends. Great walkable location to get to the ferry, restaurants and shopping. We will be back again soon!
The home is wonderfully appointed with premium bedding and sheets. Layout is great and location can’t be beat. Host was a great communicator. Highly recommend.
This home was beautifully decorated and perfect for our family Spring Break trip to the Crystal Coast. Easy walk to downtown Beaufort to enjoy shops, dining, and ferries to nearby islands. Management was great at communicating and even checked in with us during our stay. We would absolutely stay here again!

Wonderful and well appointed, this house made our stay outstanding.
We had a great stay. The back yard was great for the kids and we enjoyed the proximity to everything. The back yard patio furniture was changed and they did offer to bring it back. Hopefully they have an outdoor table now.

This was the perfect house for our family's long weekend in Beaufort (4 adults, 2 kids). The house was charming but updated, with a great kitchen, nice bathrooms, and very comfortable beds. The back yard was huge and we enjoyed sitting outside in the evenings. The house was a short walk to all of the waterfront restaurants making it easy for the kids. We will definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to others!

I really can’t say enough good things about our rental experience at the Simpson-Noe house in historic Beaufort. The house was spacious, wonderfully located and extremely well organized and clean for our family. The bedrooms and bathrooms were all great sizes and the beds were some of the most comfortable beds we’ve stayed in away from home. I loved the storage in the closets for each of the rooms as we were traveling with little kids, so we had to bring a lot with us. The extra spacious closets made me feel like our stuff was not taking over the rental. The house is conveniently located to anything you’d want to walk to in downtown. Great bars, restaurants and the most beautiful waterfront. We caught several sunsets while there after a 3-5 minute walk downtown. The Simpson-Noe house was definitely one of the cleanest and well stocked houses we’ve stayed at while renting. A perfect escape from Raleigh with so much charm! We also drove to Fort Macon public beach access several days and it was such a quick and convenient drive. Took no more than 10 minutes and was a great beach location for our family. Not too crowded and had a snack bar and showers available. I would recommend this rental to anyone! Such a gem in downtown Beaufort, beautifully kept and in an extremely convenient location.

Several issues with this rental. For $10,000.00 for 2 weeks, you would think this house would provide better accommodations.1. Only 1/2 a roll of toilet paper in the bath with no spares in the house2. The floor is very weak and someone could get hurt3. Advertisement said there was a BBQ? There was a cheap grill on the porch with no charcoal available. We saw the nice gas grill in the shed.4. Not enough towels, some were stained, no bathmat upstairs.5. The stairs are dangerous, wife got hurt on them.6. Giant Roaches. Had to kill a few.7. The kitchen was stocked with very cheap utensils, and not enough large pots to cook a family meal. 8. The corkscrew was broken.9. There was a Keurig coffee maker and only a few DECAF cups. That was a rude awakening - literally. Even cheap hotels provide a few good coffee cups.

We are glad you enjoyed the location, the owners love that you can easily walk to front street and enjoy all the local shops and restuarants that Front Street has to offer. Also very glad to hear the cleanliness was up to standards. However, guest did not reach out at any point during their stay about their complaints and concerns which if done so most if not all of these issues could have been addressed and taken care of immediately.
1. Our cleaners provide a fresh roll of TP per bathroom before every new visit. If they didn't I needed to know so I could have sent them back over to correct mistake. In our information we mention the start up supplies that are provided for each home and that the guest is responsible for replenishing as needed.
2. This house has been newly renovated with some of the flooring replaced while most is still the original floor from 1910.
3. The gas grill in the garage belongs to the owner and owner actually had an accident with that grill therefore did not want to run the risk of another accident involving any guests.
4. Cleaners put out one set of towels per person that this house will accommodate. There are washers and dryers in the house to wash as needed.
5. Owners lived in this house for over 2 years with 2 small children and never had an accident on the stairs, they are not dangerous or in any way different than any other home's stairs.
6. Roaches. These are not roaches. They look similar but are water bugs and very hard to control. We are surrounded by water and this house is regularly sprayed by a qualified pest control company all year round. But if we had been made aware of their presence we could have sent pest control over for an extra spray.
7. If the kitchen isn't stocked with everything you like than you could have reached out and asked if anything additional could be provided. This is a vacation home not a permanent residence therefore it is stocked as such. But we always welcome suggestions on what we can add to make everyone's visit more pleasant. Owner has now ordered additional cookware and utensil and would have loved to have had the opportunity to provide these during the stay but again no contact from guest.
8. Things break and when we aren't made aware especially between guests we don't have a chance to replace. If we had known we would have brought over a replacement immediately. The corkscrew has now been replaced.
9. Again we do not provide enough supplies or coffee for your entire visit especially a 2 week stay. Nowhere in our information did we lead you on in thinking we did.
Our goal is for all of our guests to have the best experience and an enjoyable visit each and every time. If any of these issues had been brought to our attention at any point we would have done everything we could have to fix them and make this better for this guest but again we heard nothing until this review was left leaving us without the chance the help them during their stay.
